The Kings will be unveiling their new jerseys on September 27, 2008. I found this out will I was cruising the internet and happened to find an image on the Kings Official MySpace leading to this assumption.

Perhaps no, just surprised to see someone make a deal out of this after the fact, even if it wasn't "official" the first time. I mean, the pictures were originally taken by a professional, and posted on a reputable website; it's not as if some amateur snapped them and posted them without the NBA's permission.

I was reading some of the comments from a T-Wolves and NBA meeting about the jerseys and at one point they addressed the "leaks" that everybody else had seen. He said that because they didn't have a favorite design yet, they had Kevin Love wear the different prototypes during the photo shoot. He was actually wearing a design that was a little bit different than the official design.

With that said, there is still a chance that the Kings jersey we saw was not the final design but a prototype.

There is no possible chance that the Kings will have any alternatives this year. As the league mandates, that a team can have alternatives 3 seasons after new jerseys have been added.

The ones seen in the photos may have been prototypes, because leaked screenshots of the game NBA 2K9 show a similar but a little different version of the jersey. It's almost like the Orlando Magic jerseys. Right now people are confused whether the Magic have pinstripes or not on the jerseys.

Definite chance that they were prototypes.

For what it's worth, there's also a definite chance Sacramento will be hit by a meteor. "Definite chance" doesn't mean a thing. And at least one set of "leaked" pictures about the new Kings jerseys were right on.

This what someone from sportslogos.net came up with from looking at the leaked photos. It does in fact look much like the ones in the leaked photo with JT in it.

I think that's pretty close. I think the more impressive ones, however, will be the home jerseys. At least we don't have too much longer to wait.

Those are about spot on. I think someone said the home jerseys are supposed to say Sacramento on them?

For those who havent seen them ..

If anyone has the old photo saved, or remembers what it looked like it was deffinetly different than these ones shown. The old ones had a black outlined V neck while these seem white, I liked them better than the one that getty leaked.

If those are the new uni's those are really clean. Very stylish. Nice upgrade. I'll get a jersey very soon after it's unveiled this weekend if they look like that.

Since the jerseys are going to be officially unveiled tomorrow at Arden Fair, we don't have too much longer to wait.
