The thing the home one suffers from is that same too may letter syndrome -- the insecurity that causes people to want to have Sacramento all squenched up across the front of the jersey is just silly -- it doesn't fit. Compare the jersey two posts above to the one Webb is wearing in the avatar of the guy who just posted above me (kings07). "Kings" fits nicely. "Sacramento" is just too many letters.
In any case thoug the white stripe thing does not look like nearly the problem from the live pics as it did in the original from the Kings store -- its mostly black in the middle. And the color of purple looks better too -- more of the blue/puple than the lavender/purple.
They gave away white T-shirts and what appeared to be some orange mini-basketballs.
They announced they were going to give away some of the new jerseys but I didn't stick around to witness that.
Also, if you purchased one of the new jerseys you would be given a VIP slip so you could go directly to the front of the line. Unfortunately they sold only the replicas and not the authentic versions.
strongly dislike those ugly triangles on the side and no trim on the bottom of the shorts. they dont look like nba jerseys. they should have something that screams, "this is the big leagues!!!" maybe its just that beno francisco and jt look like bums in them but this is another step in the cheesification of the sacramento kings
While I did not laugh, I certainly got a chuckle because he is, obviously, having a great time. I am giddy about the new team look (with youngsters) and the new uniforms. I love them.
I like the new unis. It's hard to get a read on the purple, but it looks more "bluish" and maybe darker. If so, that makes me happy. I like the home unis, too. They do have more black.
To those who think the kings unies look bad should check out the thunders and you might appericate the kings new unies and thank god that they don't look like the thunders

I just looked at the Thunder's jerseys. I can live with the home jerseys, even though they are very plain, but they must have had a very cheap budget by the look of those away jerseys. I'd rather take an all gold jersey than that.
The Thunder jerseys are certainly worse, but they both come from the same "take no chances" retro-modern design style and suffer from similarly poor color selections. White on white? Really? That wasn't a good idea when team USA did it and it's still not a good idea. Why is the trim around the shoulders a different color on the back? And at least the Oklahoma City jerseys have real collars on them. Certainly they could be worse, but I haven't wanted to own a Kings jersey since this previous iteration:
and these aren't changing my mind. I still think they look like D-League jerseys. But I suppose that's appropriate considering the composition of our team.
Actually, I liked the white-on-white. Looked sharp, especially with the subtle swirly background on the back. Here's a picture, for those that missed it:
