It's a conspiracy!!! (split from #1 draft pick thread)

shhhh people who find evidences tends to.................disappear

i have a friend smithy mcgee who stumbled upon the draft secrets... the next day his house was on fire and that some men took him and i Never saw him again .....:p

Now were talking.. This is starting to get good..

im taking a risk! :D

lol it would be funny if dark suited guys came here... id spot them easily!

your government or my government though?

if it were my government people who disappear tend to reappear in rice pads LOL.

but going back to the topic...
i wouldnt mind if the draft was rigged for us as long we are due

any body realize that Boston Chicago series? it was former team mates vs former team mates

mikki vs salmons and brad

Having spent some time on the islands of Luzon, Mindoro and the island of Mindanao, where exactly are you?

Seeing Rajon Rondo for the Celtics, I'm even more inclined to hope we go after Ricky Rubio. Hey, he'll be a superstar. He has the same lucky initials as Rondo.

:p

Well, we should have taken Rondo in the draft instead of Douby. But, the knock on Rondo was he couldn't shoot and Douby just happened to come in and make every shot he took during his workout. Nice job of scouting Petrie.

Just because some of us knew Rondo was a good player before Petrie, doesn't mean he made a bad choice. Sometimes i feel like you risk alienating other teams from dealing with you in the future if you take their "pick". Douby wasn't going to pee anyone off, Rondo would have made a few teams irked at the kings for a couple years. Like ive said before Petrie is very political, and its a credit to him. My official prediction is the Knicks get the #1 pick.

You need to be careful in your ridiculousness not to take it too far.

My friend, in all kindness, I don't have a clue what your talking about. And somehow, I don't think its a problem with my ability to comprehend. I have had a couple of cervesa's, which may cloud my intellectual ability to a small degree, but its doubtfull that its the root cause here. I will admit though, that for some reason, I look forward to reading your next post. I find that sort of scarey, but I've always been an adventurer, even if only vicariously at times.

Somehow Kings get #2 pick and then we really agonize.........Thabeet or Rubio?

A 7-3 big time defender with small offense and still no team leader and Beno as only PG.........OR............Rubio, definitely PG of the future (I hope) when he is ready for NBA/PrimeTime on this side of the pond. Tony Parker came from Euro and he took 3-4 years to get really good. So it wouldn't happen over night.

Or is there a trade for a young, potential starting PG who can lead and direct a team and a lower lottery pick?????

Um, dude? This is a conspiracy thread. Your post didn't mention black helicopters ... or pristine bullets ... or even guys tromping through the forest dressed as trees.

I'm sorry but you're going to have to get with the program...

Why would you say he's wasting his talents? For all we know, each and every one of his posts could contain secret messages for the vast armada of hyperdrive ships headed towards earth...

Im in the national capital region..the business area makati...

rice fields are in the rural provinces like Laguna, batangas and what not.. uhmmm people who tend to uncover secrets of the government tend to end up there most of the time

This conspiracy is bigger than us!

They have come.... for the one that they call Sam Cassell

Since this is a conspiracy thread, I'll go with it. I say Indiana gets the #1 pick. Why? Because that team badly needs a boost and it pains Sterns to see the Pacers second best to the Hoosiers. :p

For the #2, it's NYC of course. Can you imagine anything more fitting than putting a young international star (Rubio) in the Big Apple? But Kevin Pritchard ruins that plan by getting the #2 via a draft-day trade that sends Bayless to the Knicks. Pritchard will also land another lottery pick and draft Thabeet. Just so you know. ::(:

The Kings will get the #3 pick. Since history tends to repeat itself, the Kings will trade the #3 to the Warriors for a young borderline all-star SG. He will help the Kings become mediocore for a few years until eventually traded to a eastern team for a young HOF-worthy PF. He'll arrive just in time for the grand opening of the new arena in Cal Expo.

Actually, given the effort Stern and the NBA is leading to keep the Kings in Sac, wouldn't it make more sense for them to rig it in our favor to get more butts in the seats?

I'm not saying I recommend it, but there are places you can go, that will take you back a thousand years. Stay out of those rice fields Dude!

Ar, but you see, Stern has been burned with that line of thought. He gave Durrant to the Sonics and they still moved. :p

What ever the case is lets definitely hope he sees the since of urgency to hook us up with that number 1 pick, but if not give us the number 2 which is basically just as good as the number 1 this year. Personally I would love to have Griffin, but my pain would be eased if we didn't get him, but got Rubio.
