If we were to trade Martin...

Yeah there is that topic in the regular forum. Anyway, it is pretty hard to come up with some good deals for Kevin. I can't really think of any though honestly.

Here is one that might be good IMO...

Kings trade:
Kevin Martin
Shareef Abdur-Rahim
10th pick in the draft

Charlotte trades:
Emeka Okafor
21st pick in the draft

Kings get an awesome big man for Martin, Bobcats get their scorer. Okafor has been kind of injury prone for them and they have trouble scoring. They could use #8 on Joakim Noah and use #10 on a wing player. I'm honestly not really sure we'd have to include #10 but I dont know the value of each player too well.

I don't even want to trade Kevin but if we're throwing it out there Okafor seems like the 1 young big we might be able to get IMO.

No he isn't. He's a good PF/C. He averages 15/11/1/2 and he was a 2nd pick in Martin's draft. He gives us a reliable shotblocker, rebounder, AND someone to defend Duncan/other star PF/Cs.

Not even sayind I'd do the trade but what other young big men could we get with Martin? I'm not sure if we'd need to include the 10th pick though...

If the Bobcats would do it that would be a nice trade. When healthy Oke is a great interior defender and one of the best on the offensive glass.

Never trade for a young big man with a bad back.

My thought exactly. In three years he will turn into a medium aged guy who cant play 30 games w/o being out for the year w/ some ailment.

Bad backs turn into bad "everywhere else" after a couple years of them trying to compensate for back pain.

No thanks!
