clearly this is all i've really seen or heard of him. he is eligable for this years draft. 7'1" center with length. very mobile, good athlete, seems to have a decent grasp of the game, but again this is all based on this short highlight reel. but if this guy can pan out WOW for our team

If you go to the General fourm and the bajaden on college basketball thread you'll find that I've discussed Alabi quite a bit. We also had discussions on the 2009/2010 draft fourm as late as of today. Bear in mind that you were watching a highlight video. Alabi is not a very good offensive player. Doesn't mean he can't be in the future, but right now he's very raw. But he is a shotblocker surpreme. He's a good athlete, but not a great athlete. Although he had 12 rebounds today against Georgia Tech, I wouldn't call him a great rebounder. He doesn't go after the ball the same way great rebounders do. He also needs to put on more muscle and get stronger.

I'm not trying to pop your balloon. I like Alabi and he may be a player that fits on the Kings. He came to basketball late. Similar to Thabeet. So its to be expected that he's still learning the game.
