I love Greene's enthusiasm

This kid has all the makings to have Webber-like charisma over his career here with us. We need it since we currently have jerks like Miller, Salmons, and Hawes. And yes, Hawes is turning into a jerk and is starting to act like a mini-Miller out there at times. I'm getting sick of his whiny little face every time the refs call a foul on him.

I went to the game last night and loved to see that Greene was almost always the first King off the bench to greet his teammates when a timeout was called. He always has a smile on his face and isn't acting like a pre-madonna about not getting a lot of minutes right now. He's producing little fun videos for the fans so we can see how is rookie season progresses. He even stood on a street corner encouraging fans to attend the home opener and had a lot of fun with it!

I just don't see any ego in this kid but I do see a lot of confidence. I can really see him developing into the face of this franchise in a few years. Given the attitudes of guys like Miller, Salmons, and Thomas it's extremely refreshing to see a kid come in here and stay positive and keep a smile on his face.

I agree, love the kids attitude.

Last night while the starters were huddled up late in the forth with Reggie discussing the play Greene was the only bench player in the huddle with them, he had his arms around two of the guys and was just I'd say encouraging them.

Been saying that since the start of the season..

Greene is the new Cleaves. He loves to wave that towel.. But he's kind of a jokester too which I like. He seems to make everyone laugh.

You show me a person that appears confindent, but with no ego, and I'll show you a fake. It is blatantly impossible to be confident, without having an ego. There is a difference between having an ego and being egotistical.

I don't know about the rest of the people on this fourm, but I'm personally getting tired of you calling people names. You can discuss players in a respectful way and still be critical of them. To call players jerks, that you don't know on a personal level, in my opinion, shows a lack of class.

WORD..............to every single thing you said.

I like this Kid too.

He is a happy kid and full of youthfulness. :)

I hope just for fun...we're not a championship contender, or a sure-shot playoff team anyways...

I think fans would love it if one or two of these games Theus would unleashed our 6' 11" Greene. Let the Kid have some fun playing - provided all he will do is showcase his rebounding skills, block shots, and garner most of his points within the paint, or dunking!

No chucking of shots please. :p

It will be a blast. :p

Any update on Kevin? On monday it was reported he would be out 7-10 days or 3-6 games. Is there a chance he will suit up on sunday?

So he can matchup with Bruce Mr. Oops Did I Accidentally Slide My foot Under Yours On That Jump Shot Bowen? I say let the kid's ankle rest at least one more game.

I agree 100%. Let him get healthy. Lets not have a repeat of when Bibby played the entire season hurt.

36-year-old Bruce Bowen is seeing the bench at lot more recently in San Antonio. His 550 NBA game starting steak ended not long ago and with Parker and Ginobili out Coach Pop is apparently desperate for more offense - not exactly Bowen's specialty. Looks like an aging Bowen may become the Spurs 6th man for the time being. The bad news on Sunday might be that Ginobili returns as rusty as he could be while the Kings are still without Martin and Garcia.

Brad's body language has been pretty crummy going back to the Pistons game.

Greene definitely has a really good, positive attitude and that's been kind of a surprise to me. I read up on him, youtube'd him and listened to what people had to say about him and I didn't know what to expect out of him this season except that he wouldn't get too many minutes. He looks like a guy that enjoys the game and likes to win. Pretty simple and hopefully he keeps up the positive attitude and when he works his way into the rotation he'll bring that positive energy onto the court.

I also love Donte’s attitude. He’s just there supporting his team and hopefully more of the team will do the same…I’m not going to compare Greene to Vlade but I remember seeing Vlade stand on the sidelines and cheer for his teammates. I’m loving that Donte is there supporting as well.

Another guy that continues to make me smile is Cisco. I love his leadership and personality. Did anybody notice during (I can’t remember) overtime (I think) once we made the shot Cisco was running out on the court cheering that play. This is the type of stuff that I love to see, the support system between the guys. I hope to see much more of it in the near future.

I don’t want any of our guys (especially the young guys) to rush back from their injuries. Let them fully heal and then let them see the court. I do miss Kevin and Garcia (especially Cisco since he’s just this ball of energy).

From what I've seen so far - and I try to watch the bench any time it's shown - the whole team (even the much aligned Kenny Thomas) is supportive and enthusiastic. The best one to watch, though, is SAR. There are times when I think he forgets he's a coach - I've seen him jump up and react to a really good play on the court more than once.

Now that's chemistry and team unity and I love it.

I'm going to watch the bench more. But that's great to hear...I haven't really watched SAR but it's awesome that he's there with them and Kenny, wow. That's suprising. lol
