How tough is Kings schedule? Depends on who you ask.

The Kings have to have the toughest schedule in the league. This is insane

13-3 Denver next, winners of six straight, good lord! Meanwhile the Lakers have had one of the easiest and luckiest (playing teams missing key players) schedules. I think they've played Atlanta, Memphis 2x, OKC 2x. Next they have the Wizards. It's like the NBA wanted to make sure their Cash cow got off to a good start.

New JJ looking like a really nifty wing piece after people absolutely crapped on the Kings for drafting him all offseason is just another tick in the ledger towards "Maybe dudes in an NBA front office are there for a reason".

Also the NBA deciding to schedule us for a 4 game road trip right before Thanksgiving is the ultimate FU Vivek move.

It's ok if they get off to a fast start if the recompense is a slow ending. Their schedule is a lot tougher in the 2nd half. I am going to be very curious to compare their win percentage in 20 game increments. I expected them to get off to a blazing start (maybe not this blazing), and then each 20 game segment that followed to get worse and worse. LBJ turns 35 in December. We'll see how much vim he has in February, March and April.

Regarding the schedule, the Kings have an opportunity to harvest many wins over the next 10 games:

Nuggets
Bulls
Trail Blazers
Spurs
Mavs
Rockets
Thunder
Knicks
Warrior
Hornets

The Spurs, Trail Blazers, and Warriors have fallen over the cliff. If you can't beat the dead, you're in trouble. I could see as high as 8-2 over those 10 games, with the low end of 6-4. IMO, a .500 record over this span would be very disappointing, especially because Bagley should add some punch toward the latter half of those 10 games.

I have a good feeling about the game against Denver. I don't know if the Kings win, but I expect a good game. Ok, I dare to say, I think it will be a close game and Kings win.

This website with 300 twitter followers (only 1200 less than the account for this board!) seems totally legit!

"
About Us
A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Max Carty has always cared (maybe too much) about sports. After years of wasting time bouncing around numerous power ranking websites, he decided to collect all this information in a single place and display it in an efficient and easy to digest manner. And so, in 2015, Power Rankings Guru was created. He commissioned his father to draw up a logo and a disheveled, amateur website was hastily launched.

Since then, the site has become the most comprehensive team ranking website on the Internet. We now collect power rankings from websites around the world and determine average rankings for over 720 teams across seven countries. Originally dealing with only Power Rankings, we’ve branched out and now aggregate win projections, playoff odds and championship odds. We’ve also become a leading resource on strength of schedule rankings for teams in the NHL, NBA, NFL and MLB.

As the amount of sports information available continues to skyrocket, Power Rankings Guru will continue to do what we originally set out to do. Aggregate information and display it all in one place. Please continue to check back with us, as we have many projects in the pipeline and are extremely excited about the future.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

People can judge for themselves the accuracy/legitimacy of the site. Not sure I buy into the "...most comprehensive team ranking website on the Internet" though. www.teamrankings.com has been around for a LOT longer and seems to give a lot more information.

Either way, we know what some people think of power rankings.

If you play in the West overall there is no such thing as an easy schedule, Lakers might have it easy so far but it will even out, the whole of last season we were talking wait till the easy part but there no was easy part in particular when you're a 500. or below team.

To be fair, we missed out on most of the easy part of the schedule last season because Joerger went insane over all-star weekend and forgot how to coach and then Bagley got injured right as he was starting to consistently put up all-star numbers every night.

That’s exactly what it is. And no one can convince me otherwise

It’s pretty disgusting
