Instead of the gold ones. Some dude on another board designed them. I like them a lot better.

Ummm, I don't think I'd buy one, but to answer your question, anything is better than gold lame. I'd rather have them play as "the skins."

Those are definitely much better than the gold ones. I would like to see us wear black as our alternate color but not in place of our current away jerseys, those purple jerseys are sweet.

The one on the right is sick, i like the silver down the sides idea also, im one of the few that doesnt mind the gold ones but i wouldnt be hurt to see them go.

I'd still like to see the gold desing only instead of gold be shiny silver. Kind of like the silver alt Spurs jerseys.

But yeah, the one on the right looks pretty cool.

Since the league has clearly said no black, I'm not sure why this keeps popping up. I liked the old black unis, but black ain't goin' to happen. :(

The Maloofs have said, more than once, that they would like to go back to the black uniforms but the league won't allow it. They've said it for more than two years.

This comes up every single off-season.

You can check in the older threads and you're sure to find a lot of discussion about it.

I posted an email I received from Maloof Sports and Entertainment about this very topic a few months ago. One of the spokesmen for the Kings made it clear that the league will not allow them to use black jerseys at this point in time.

from what i have heard the reasoning behind not having many black uni's is because the NBA doesnt want a good vs. bad feel in any of their games.

at least thats what i've been told.

I spoke with both Joe and Gavin Maloof separately about the issue regarding the Kings road jerseys. The day I asked them was when Eric Musselman was introduced as the new Kings head coach at the Arden Mall.

They both told me they would love to bring back the black road jerseys but the NBA will not allow them to.

Wow, wierd stuff...there are still quite a few teams that wear black jerseys.

Bulls (Alternate)
76ers
Spurs
Heat
Wolves (Alternate)
Blazers

I wonder why so many teams get black jerseys and we dont, i know most of these listed have been used for many years but this whole thing kinda blows my mind.

the alternate ones they had before (i think they were introduced in the 98-99 season)

the darkish purpleish ones...

these ones



maybe even a lil darker...
