How can the Kings not sign a free agent this season?

Okay, on the heels of five player injuries (McGuire, Francisco, Omri, Hawes, and May) and waiving of Joey Doresy, how can the Kings not go pick up a cheap free agent or claim someone off of waivers (Kenny Thomas, anyone?)
There are only eight players available for service! Your frontcourt consists of Landry, Thompson, and Brockman. Your wings are Greene, Udoka, Chapu. And your backcourt is Beno and Tyreke. I realize these guys will play the lion's share of minutes, but they need an extra body in there.

Pardon my language but you're ****ing kidding right?!

I never want to see the name Kenny Thomas associated with the Sacramento Kings ever again.

lmao

we don't need anybody else for the last few games. it means more playing time for the guys that are available. this will help us lin the right way bc guys will be tired from heavy minutes

I just worry about players playing too tired and getting hurt.

Well hopefully the Maloofs have taken all of Geoff's pens away. That would be a start.

We need lins. This is no time to be going crazy fighting for meaningless wins. Let them play out the season as is.
I'm only concerned about ping pong balls and Tyreke going 20-5-5, in that order.

I think you're right. No harm in a couple live bodies for practice and in case anyone gets hurt.

Yeah, I kind of agree. I don't know how much more practice they'll get in before the end of the season, but its hard to have a serious practice without ten players. There's always guys you can sign to a ten day deal from the D league.

This, bring someone in, give them a chance.. see if they impress we might find a solid roleplayer out of it.

The only harm is money, and I dont see the maloofs spending any amount on a guy this late in the season. I think were back to 10 guys anyways.. Thompson, Landry, Brockman, May, Greene, Nocioni, Garcia, Udoka, Evans, Udrih.

I would bring in a guard who can bring the ball up the court and play some D. This alone would rest Tyreke and Beno enough so they could play more minutes.

Westphal could just tell the young man, "bring the ball up, pass it to Reke/Beno and then go spot in the corner:)
