They sure are a different team without Lewis and Vlade. I kinda feel bad for them since they were playing so well this year . Oh well, it's nice to see Fatty Fortson suffering

anytime you lose 5 games in a row whether its with your star players or not people are gonna talk...if the Spurs lost 5 games in a row people will talk...heck they lost 3 games in a row a few weeks back and people where talking...and lets take the Spurs for example...they over the past few months have been consistenly missing Tim, Rasho, Devin, Manu yet they are still pulling out wins on a consistent basis...I mean if the Sonics lose all their games for the rest of the season without Rashard then Rashard Lewis is clearly the MVP of this league...

You've clearly not followed Kings basketball this year and thats okay cuz you are a Sonics fan...but we most certainly have not lost are players at different stages...there were games in which we had no Chris no Peja and no Cat and still managed to win..we've had no Brad (which is a big hit to the way our offense is ran) and no Bobby and have still won games...and it also has NOT been just this year...its year after year key injury after key injury...
I understand that injuries are harder on some teams than others but especially this year in the NBA you can't look at injuries as an excuse not when so many teams have had major injuries and have continued to win...the Indiana Pacers being a great example

We have missed guys at all stages. We have missed multiple top guys at the same time. We have missed players for playoff games. We have missed bench players. We have missed multiple starters. We have missed multiple bench players and multiple starters. Matter of fact, I don't remember the last time we were not missing somebody. Don't whine here about missing players. Fortson is great. I would trade Greg Ostertag + Darius for Fortson. I don't understand why you guys hate him. He's a hustler. I know he is dirty but then so are 40% of the NBA players. He's a great rebounder and makers 85% of his free throw shots.

40% of the NBA players are NOT dirty...i know there is a fine line between a good defender and a dirty player but that 40% number is too high IMO

Ok then half of the NBA's best defenders are dirty. Bruce Bowen is way dirtier than Fortson but anybody would want him on their team. I just think Fortson is a great role player, possibly the Sonics' 5th most important player.
bojan - There are probably 10-15 truly dirty players in the NBA, and Fortson is one of them. There is no way whatsoever he would fit into the style of play of the Sacramento Kings. When you consider how many players can get into his head, he is much more of a liability than an asset. Seattle will find that out sooner or later...

Injuries is never an excuse... a loss is a loss and a win is a win. You never saw us complain when Peja, Miller, Bobby, etc. was out.

are you kidding me? the kings' organization is way to classy for danny fortson. did you watch the game where him and webber got into it? danny got ejected from the game and on his way out threw a chair at a photographer. and this was in seattle. and just recently when him and corliss got into it. danny pushed corliss in the back, the refs call a double foul and then williamson gets t'd up because he was upset about a foul being called on him for being pushed in the back. fortson is dirty and there's no room for that on the kings' roster.
and i would say only 5% of NBA players are dirty. and fortson makes that list!!
