Hinrich

what do you guys think of a possible Evans-Hinrich backcourt?

both guys are large combo guards who have great defensive ability + playmaking skill....

Hinrich is also the type of guy who doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective...

remember tha Kirk was a 15/7 type of guy before the arrival of Rose...

note: holy ****, the guys almost 30, it seemed like almost yesterday when I had large hopes for him as a rookie

Can't see why. He costs almost as much as Martin, he's not anywhere near the scorer that Martin is, and he appears to be on the decline. I think the Bulls are going to have trouble moving him as it is. I see no reason to do them a favor.

Totally agree..
I feel like discussing deals to replace Martin should be on hold until we see how he plays with this team for at least a month or two.

I think this idea was consumated out of boredom. Not a well thought trade, that is if indeed being proposed.

First, what we need is a defensive center and taking in another guard wouldn't help, but only waste our trading chip/s.

Second, our back court is not that broken. Beno is performing very well, Rodriguez is the pass-first point guard that some of us wants for this team. Why fix something in the team that is not broken? Fix the problem at the center position first before anything else.

Third, Hinrich is expensive! I wouldn't want to waste an expensive chip like Martin on him, especially that we don't know yet if Martin and Evans will clicked.
