Heat Willing To Sell 18th Pick For Cap Space

Via Draft Express.

Miami traded Daequan Cook and 18th pick for the #32 pick. Done deal. Miami gets even more cap space. I think Bucher, Woj also reported it.

Draft Express is also reporting that the Thunder are targeting Larry Sanders with the pick.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Portland or OKC pick this up. Obviously it would be a help if we did, but we won't.

Hate to say I told ya so, but... I told ya so!

OKC doing a great job being agressive. Should pick up another solid young guy to add to an already stacked team of young talent. Kudos to them. Really showing how a rebuild should be done.

Wow. Horrible trade on paper, but if Miami lands any 2 of the Big 4 FAs, wow.

Miami believes they can beat out CHI and NY using their ideal location and coolguy recruiter, Dwade.

yea, I dont know why we dont try and use our capspace for a move like this. Kind of frustrating. We could of landed someone like Bradley or Bledsoe here for a backup/potential starter next to Tyreke.

lebron, wade & bosh all on the same team? that's f'ng ridiculous. the new big three... they wouldn't have any problems finding vet. min. role players to go there to play.

It's not about our capspace. It's about wether the maloofs wanna fork out some cash. Cause these things don't count against a teams cap, just the owners' pocketbook. The draftees salary is the only thing that would count against the cap. And I highly doubt teams wouldn't try to aquire another first rounder cause they're worried about the cap space taking a hit, it's the owners willingness to cough up some cash.
