HB IS BACK

Slight overpay IMO. We better bring in another starting caliber player. HB at 15 per gave us a lot more opportunity to bring someone else in.

3 at 18 per is fine, treads water with his last deal, it might actually be a pay cut. Better if it's descending like last time, though probably not for trade purposes if we look to move him at the end of his contract.

Don’t love it. But I could have lived with it if we had drafted Prosper as a young kid who could make the play-offs.

the fact we sold our 1st round pick to sign Barnes and stay under the 1st Apron instead of trying to be a better team I hate. It is that kind of crap that will make this team a lottery team again soon.
Nah, there's actual value in securing Domas extension now and him not going to UFA.

But it's very very conservative approach and not one gets you over the hump. And HB is still actually good, I doubt he plays as poorly as he did in the playoffs again. (I hope...)

But if we ranked Sac outcomes, this was like 7th out of 10 possible routes I would have taken. Just... bleh.

Also, we still have 17ish mil for tomorrow. If we go get another piece, then we'll have something to evaluate.

remember other teams did add their picks and some of those are going to contribute. We benefitted from the least missed games last year. Falling into the lottery is not out of the question.

The word contention is very interesting as well. Are we sure about that? Better hope that shift last deadline that just got worse this summer is a fraud. Lets see, Keegan, you're up my man, haha. If Sasha comes there's a chance and there potentially could be some more wiggle room with this deal we shall see.

sure but signing Barnes and extending Sabonis could all have been done without selling your first round pick. ………

so that scenario and keeping 24 is clearly a better scenario than what we are seeing from a fans perspective.

I don’t hate it but I don’t love it either. I thought it was time to separate from HB. I hope we are able to bring someone on who can push HB to the bench.
