[Game] Hawks @ Kings 03/11/2012

Give Cuz a rest. Why is he still out there? Want him to pick up a cheap foul?

edit: there you go! 2nd foul. SMH.

Now is the perfect time to bring MT back in, and let him be aggressive and get shots up with Reke/Cuz on the bench.

Dampier was going to chuck him wiht that forearm until something was called. have to see that as a coach unless its a teaching opportunity.

This part of the rotation still makes no sense to me. Anyone out there have some good idea why we seem to play our starters what seems like all of the first then a couple minutes into the second... then we bring them in for like the final 2 minutes of the half?

the only thing i can think of in Smarts defense is that its a short season and as long as the game is close. he wants the starters to be as fresh as the can be to finish the game...

on a side note jimmer looking better tonight... they have taken the ball out of his hands a little... had a nice cut / layup at the rim

Just thought I'd give Jimmer credit - he's really shown a ton of improvement compared to when he first came in. Looking more relaxed and playing with confidence, also developing a good chemistry with some of the guys. On defense he looks a lot more aggressive as well.

I think that's 2 of 3 fouls now on Cousins that were bad or at least ticky tack. Not sure he should even be out there with less than 2 monutes to go and 2 fouls.

I just .. i don't like seeing Marcus with under 10 mins in a half.

And seriously, when we go big with Evans at point, he should be able to destroy Teague like he did right there.

Well other than poor rebounding and some forced shots I think we played a pretty decent half. Not many selfish possessions, D picked up after the first few minutes.

i'd like to see JT and MT back in the line up and Evans not shooting 3's.... Evans... you can't really shoot 3's come on man!

Meh, listening to Bill Walton is extremely entertaining and he provides a lot of interesting sound bites.

That have nothing to do with basketball as its played today.

Its insulting to say, but I often wonder how much people who like Walton's disarrhea actually like watching the NBA games he's covering up with all his nonsense. If you need a clown to entertain you while a game is going on, the game must not be that intereting I guess. Its like liking the idiot inteh theater who jsut won't quit yabbering away behind you with smartass comments. Some of them might be funny, but if you actually like his presence there you can't be that interested in the movie.

Yeah that's what I'm saying, one of the entertaining things is how much he just irks the crap out of Grant with that style, while Grant is forced to play nice cause they're on air.

When they're on together, you can just hear Grant thinking "What have I done to experience the punishment of broadcasting next to this unprofessional clown."

Kinda funny.

No I just think that listening to him is funny. I like basketball just as much as the next guy but I also like ridiculous statements such as "boris diaw is the mozart of basketball" or something like that and whacky puns. It has nothing to do with needing someone to entertain me, I just think it's funny.

Cosigned, lol. This says it perfectly.

So how about that Marvin Williams guy out there? Playing well and crammed a nice dunk over the Kings' best defender :D

Hopefully Petrie trades for him, he's buy low type of candidate.

Missed the first half grading papers...what did I miss? Better still, it appears that Thornton and I have caught about the same amount of the game...
