GSW - Kings pick/player swap

#5, Spencer Hawes, Garcia (do you think value is fair or should JT be added? and if JT is added Garcia subtracted but values would be off I'm not sure we can absorb the extra 5m of Biedrens contract?).

GSW Out:
#6, Anthony Randolph, Biedrens

Why?

Draft day deal. If Cousins or Favors is off the board come #5.

Golden State probably covet's Wes Johnson... If they're afraid we'll take him at #5 we do a simple swap. A.R. has talent but doesn't get a fair break in GSW. Biedren's doesn't fit what they seemingly want to do. We give them players that fit what they want to do.

Kings get much better defensively up front... Add a nice prospect at PF (one with more upside I'd probably say then what we would find in this draft) Plus if Garcia goes we don't hit our ability that much to go after a FA, and I think we will still have full cap-space if JT is shipped also

Anthony Randolph is so skinny that he makes Kevin Martin look like a beefcake. Hell, our pg weighs more than he does. Plus he's been injured a lot in his first couple of seasons which makes me very very weary. We already have a 6'11" 2/3/4 tweener, I don't think we need another one that's skinnier.

Biedrens is a nice player but he has a painful contract plus hasn't proven to me that he can (A) stay healthy or (B) play up to his contract. I don't think he'd help the team to that point that we need to be at.

In other words, I wouldn't do this trade.

I'd do that deal (w/o JT). Biedrins is a consistent double/double who's hard nose and a good shotblocker. And 9M is going rate for a starting center. With regards to Randolph, the guy won't turn 21 until July. Plus he's shown star potential in his limited play, which is more than I can say for Thompson. But honestly, I can't see why GS would do this deal.

I doubt GS trades Biedrins AND Randolph to a team in the same division to move up 1 draft spot just because they "probably" covet Johnson. Randolph is also a much better fit in Nellie's system than Hawes or JT
