I think Jimmer's getting a DNP tonight. His minutes have been short over the last few (and he hasn't played great) - and Smart is going to bring in Tyreke behind Garcia. Then when MT comes back, Garcia's minutes are gone.

I think you are probably right. I hope jimmer gets traded.

I don't know how Jimmer sitting on the bench because of a few bad games results in the conclusion that he should be traded. Are you assuming other teams wouldn't mind if he had bad games? I'm a Jimmer fan and doubt if he will be a DNP. You can't find out when a guy is out of shooting slump without having him play at least a few minutes. I picture in the future that MT will be traded and Jimmer will be depended on to be a reliable shooter. This is based on what seems to be a fact that MT doesn't understand the concept of passing the ball and Jimmer, of all the collection of shooting small guys, understands that part of the job description is to pass.

Really tough match up for the Kings the Grizz frontline has 2 Allstars and 2 really good role players in Arthur/Speights who are both lights up from mid range and do a good job on the glass. The key to this game imo is to make Conley a scorer, I watched plenty of Memphis games and if you force Conley to score and contest his lay ups even slightly the dude misses a lot. Z-Bo is going to get his stats no matter what hes just to relentless.
Cuz and JT have to attack there bigs in particular Z-Bo who is not the best defender, Marc Gasol defense this year his been stellar, but he a bit like Cuz can be a bit foul prone. Rudy Gay I have not really been impressed with this year but hes still a All-Star level player. Tony Allen will make it diffcult for whoever hes on so Tyreke could be in for a tough gaming coming back from injury to face the beast in Allen.
The Memphis bench with Pondexter going down is a lot weaker, he was there do it all guy and ALWAYS made 3's just when they needed them. Bayless could have a good game since hes a good scorer against our PG's.
I don't really expect us to win will be great if we do but Memphis plays real good team ball and they are stronger at where we are strong at. I expect a 7-12 point loss but Kings please prove me wrong.

I'm hopeful but don't have a great feeling about this one. Memphis has been struggling bit lately but are still one of top defensive units in NBA. Kings arrived back in Sac at around 3AM Sunday from very long cross country flight after four game back-to-back road slog. Maybe all that won't be major factor with Kings delivering another A game on their home court. They'll need to do it just to stay close to Memphis late. GO KINGS!!

I wouldn't mind seeing James Johnson have a crack at him, Z-Bo has had this season mixed success vs guys roughly James Johnson size/athletic ability in the Morris twins from Suns/Houston. In one of the games he went crazy and dropped like 38 where he couldn't miss anything but in the other 2 in particular the Houston game the other Morris twin did a great job fronting and boxing him out.
The only other player to bother Z-bo hard is Javale Magee and we got nothing like him on our team.

I actually appreciate Cisco starting. Hes had a couple bad games but hes been hitting the spot up 3 for the most part. I appreciate tallish spot up shooters that can defend. Im really interested to see a lineup of Evans/Garcia/Salmons/Thompson/Cousins.

OK, folks, I am looking forward to the next week or so. We will have home court advantage which helps us. We will have Tyreke and Cousins on the court at the same time and if we are lucky, both will be playing at their best in their history as Kings. Remember that Tyreke's jumper was falling and he was getting to be hard to stop. In other words, he was doing what has been a huge clammer of discussion over the last year or so. In this week, we may see where this team can be headed in the future. Most of us know the team will get better.
I don't know what to expect and certainly won't make a prediction but it is possible our mood may be boosted considerably.

Oh, and if anyone thinks they can make a conclusion as to just about anything based on this upcoming game, think again. It's one game. Remember our coach. Remember math probabilities based on a small "n."
