Don't Make Me Use The Bat
It was a momentous day in American history...and then the Kings played. But hey, we held them to less than 129, so baby steps and all that.

38-2 to tie for that #8 seed.

Oh well. Pretty Girls it is! Woohoo! Even have them up tonight. This variation? A yummy one. Pretty Girls: (Very) Pretty Girls You Have Never Heard Of. Did me some research this time. It was tough let me tell you. Not every beauty is in Hollywood or the runways of Paris, and some of the lesser known ladies could give their more famous peers a real run for the money.

Note: because of the blizzard of girls that this season has unleashed on this board, from now on (actually last theme on) I will be sure to include a Pretty Boy with every group of Pretty Girls. Equality and all that. :p

Note 2: normally I avoid posting pics of unknown girls both because the famous ladies resonate and because its an invasion of privacy to draw unwanted attention on some private individual who just happens to be pretty but maybe doesn't want a whole thread dedicated to her picture on the interent. These ladies however are all second tier professional models trying to make the big time -- they would probably appreciate the attention.

Salmons ( D ) -- you would not have known he was out there in the first half. just barely involed. Made a couple of good early passes, but as the half wore on quit doing even that on his way to a 4pt effort. Finally hit a three to close the third which must have been very exciting. Only time I noticed him on defense was near the end of the third when we put him on Billups, and he was getting beat at that point. Padded the stats in eye rolling fashion in the 4th quarter garbagetime once we removed the other competitors for his ball. Disappointing that we had to finally play one of those icky kid types (Greene) because I think he could have padded them up to 20 if we'd just let him play out the quarter.

Meet Melissa Riso

Thompson ( B+ ) -- strong first quarter active both on the glass and offense. Was playing too well though, so Natt kept him out until we had blown our entire 10 point second quarter lead. After his return returned to playing well, and looking settled out there. Began to regress to just the hustle guy in the third, when he made several scramble plays but also began to have his normal turnover and foul problems. Had 12 and 6 at half, but quit producing in the second half and what loked like a back to back 20-10 game never materialized. Got the stats up to still impressive 18 and 11 by the end of the garbagetime, but think it was only 14 and 8 while we still had a game, so going high B ratehr than an A. Still another encouraging game, and a couple of good ones in a row. Not much size on a lousy Wizards team tommorow, so will see if he can keep the string alive.

Stevie Lynn Anyone?

Miller ( F ) -- thank you Brad for this wonderful effort. Worked over inside by Nene in the early going and gave us nothing in return. Got so bad we decided that we would rather have Kenny Thomas in the game than Brad. Yay. Gave us nothing for some more time in the third on his way to a lovely 2pt 3reb effort in 27 minutes. You would have thought he looked across and saw Dwight Howard standing there or soemthing.

How About Ali Sonoma?

Martin ( B ) -- mixed bag in the first half. Slowed early on by the crossmatch with Billups on hiim, but looked relaxed. Maybe absorbing too much Coachie mantra, as he was actually maybe being TOO unselfish in spots and passing on wide open shots. Struggled inside against Birdman and only shot 4-11 in the half. Got his points, but not efficient. Came alive in the third, which is kind of his quarter, and led a brief charge to get us back from 24 to 11...ironically it would bounce right back to 24 a mfew minutes later. Let's not talk about the defense because it makes my head hurt. My favorite play there was when Brad stood flatfooted and did the swingin gate thing for I think..Kleiza maybe? on the baseline -- a terrible defnsive play by Brad. Got worse though as Kevin was down near the hoop and did not even twitch toard the guy as he flew in for the dunk. Such effort and intensity by all involved. Still going B here despite the defensive issues and poor shooting as Kevin was obviously the one major offensive weapon. During those games when Salmons had to carry the load alone while Kevin was out if you ever wondered if things would have gone any differently if the situation were reversed, tonight you got your answer as John simply did not show up and Kevin alone fared pretty much like John alone.

Marie Blanchard is here to ease the pain of watching the Kings.

Udrih ( C- ) -- started off this one actually looking pretty good, and benefitted when the Nuggets chose to use Billups to slow Kevin, leaving Beno matched against the immensely undisciplined J.R. Smith. Ran the team well in the early going, and repeatedly broke the defense down by getting inisde. Had lost the spark by the second quarter however and lost almost all of his second half minutes again to BJax. Having him and Kevin out there at the same time is tough as there was only one Balkman to hide them on and two guys who can play offense. Not only Beno, but our whole team deserves an F for basketball I.Q. in the third quarter as the Nuggets were casually switching EVRYTHING, and I do mean everything, so every single time down the floor we had mismacthes popping up all over the court, and yet we rarely even tried to get it to one of them, and seemed confused and flustered by the simple tactic as the Nuggets put us away.

How about Seanna then? Does she make it all better?

Hawes ( C ) -- in early and immediately scored on a quick hook, but then began to have problems with turnovers and being outhustled for balls on his way to 2rebs in 20 minutes tonight. Got back to shotblocking in the early 4th, which was a welcome return as we are totally incompetent at that without him. This was at best an "eh" game from him, and lets just say I am getting impatient waiting for us to redidicate ourselves to his future.

Like Spencer himself, Stella Marie's appeal is in a gorgeous face.

Jackson ( C+ ) -- in the early going banged with Billups and got a corner three near the end of the first quarter courtesy of Hawes, but also picked up a couple of offensive fouls in the early going (by the way after we raped the Bucks on generous whistles last imte out, tonight we clearly got the worse end of it). Was, of course, Natt's safety blanket in the second half once he realized that his incredibly tight and well coahced crew wasn't actually going to play hard for him, and so we were treated to the spectacle of Bobby Jackson garbagetime superstar. Popped in a pair of junk 3ptrs in the final minute to seriously pad some weakish stats, but while the game was on it was a battle to see if he would get more points than TOs. As always, you can say that he tried.

Sheryl K is a med student no less. In a couple of years this could be your doctor. Thinking the line to turn your head and cough is going to stretch around the block.

Cisco ( C+ ) -- hit a wild full court running 4pt play to close the first quarter and put us up 8 (that didn't last long) but didn't do much else in his first half minutes. Finally hit a couple of shots in the third as we struggled to keep it under 20. Not much passing, nothing on the glass, and did not get it done on defense either with the depleted corps of Nuggets wings lighting us up. But gave us a few points at least.

Okay, I had no hope here, none, of even remotely satisfying any significant percentage of the female posters because women have such scattered messed up standards as to as a group have none at all. So I kept it simple, six pack, dark hair (short) blue eyes, and an Aussie so as to import some ruggedness into the pretty boy world of male modeling. Guy's name is Kiernan Lahey ladies. Physical trainer down under just breaking into the biz. Picture is over the top, but hey you only get one, so figured I'd make it count.

Moore ( A+ ) -- provided an awesome burst of foulwork in the second quarter, racking up 3 fouls to no stats of any other kind in 8+ minutes. I worship this man.

Lenore Huynh perhaps helps make up for the picture above

Thomas ( INC ) -- brought in in the second quarter to, get this, to defend Nene. I kid you not -- Natt determined that so soft were the other bigs the only choice was to bring in our midget big to try to stop the big post guy. Think it worked? Combined with Mikki for a truly awesome 0pts 1reb 0ast 5fls in 12+ minutes of 2nd quarter action. Which couldn't of course have had anything to do with us getting outscored 34-16 during that quarter.

Katie Volkov's real name is Ekaterina, and we have Russia to thank for her just as they have Sacramento to er..."thank" for the Kings.

Greene ( D+ ) -- finally back into an NBA game in the middle of the 4th, and what he apparently learned down in the Developmental League was that conscienceless gunning from 3pt land really is a good thing. Given that the defense really wasn't that tight, how come he could hit those shots down there but not up here? The basket is the same height right? Anyway, feel bad about his circumstances and all, but this is not the sort of garbagetime performance to turn the tide.

Devon (aka DIGIA) Disclaimer: sorry about the racy pic, but everything is covered just as if she were wearing...well anything. Disclaimer to the disclaimer: I assume you know that I'm really not.

Douby ( INC ) -- a Douby sighting! Which on the other hand must mean that somehow someway Bobby Brown got dumped onto the Inactive List tonight. Wonderful. And Quincy in his return...pretty much did nothing. Grabbed a board, looked like he may ben a part of a block near the rim on a guy driving. No points, no assists in 6 minutes. Just...ah hell with the filler, onto the pretty girl:

Christina -- chose a very modest pic for a very young girl -- 18 and just starting out. Nothing modest about her beauty though.

Brown ( ? ) -- what? he did not play? Oops! My bad! But guess I still have to put up another pretty girl right?

Shisha

Jerry Reynolds ( A+ ) -- whatever he said tonight I am sure was brilliant and insightful. really. No ulterior motives here at all. Just thought Jerry deserved a shoutout. Oh...and a pretty girl. :D

Marissa Nicole. Okay, I'm really done now. To all a good night.

I just thought of a possible theme in the future for you Brick. If you are running out of pretty girls theme we could use the basketball girlfriends/wives there is alot to choose from.

Marie and Melissa..... damn.
A.
I Give you a solid A, Brick.
If only I knew they could cook, then I would be developing aspirations.

(I assume you all know what it takes to get a plus. She's coming over in a trade with the grizz later this month:D)

Just read an article in the bee this morning and Kenny Natt mentioned he will only play the players that will listen and play hard.

Also, read Bobby Jackson said the team is playing with no emotions.

No wonder Coachie thinks he might have made a mistake.

Around our house it's getting so bad (watching the Kings) we always check the TV listings to be sure there is something entertaining and decent to watch from the mid-third on. Tuesday thank goodness a "Leverage" repeat was on at 7pm that was fun to watch. And I am 20 year KingsFan veteran.

Not sure the problems are Coach Natt. I just think The Fish is too set in his ways, Beno needs to see movement from the other four to create and the "bigs" don't seem to move around much and their spacing really sucks many times. Mikki is the biggest minus ( - ) in the west when he goes in. So why put him in? Brings nothing. Heck, Greene, Jason and Hawes are at least entertaining, energetic and they all hustle and as the "kids" needing time why not play them more? They're not winning with the old guys in there.
