The first time I watched the Reno Bighorns play I thought, "wow, a style of ball that almost all but guarantees a butt whooping for your team every other game." I'm starting to get that feeling with the Kings this year. Uh oh.

This is sad, 76 points in a half. Its one thing if we're the 6ers or Knicks, but this team is being run with the intention of winning.

I don't see another roster worse than this current Kings one from top to bottom in the NBA and that is the truth...even those lottery teams have promise and are making proper strides. This is just the absolute worst season I've had to endure as far as being a Kings fan and that's saying something considering this team won 20 games or something like that just five years ago.

Im sick of fans delusionaly trying to build championship contenders out of thin air. Can we just field a team that plays hard every night, runs a system, plays with a purpose. the Kings along with Minnesota have been to the bottom and never crawled out of it. Minnesota always had a lot of young pieces on their teams but they never had that superstar player to build around...they tried with Love but it wasn't a success. Out of those two teams, I wonder which team will sniff the playoffs first.

I fear the firing of Malone will haunt this team for years to come.

The fact that Malone was able to get this broken roster to play defense, and win, while maximizing the talents of Boogie and Rudy, is a testament to his talents as a coach.

The fact that PDA thought Malone was holding his joke of a roster back, as well as his ability to convince Vivek that this was so, is a testament to the utter stupidity of our F.O.

The sad thing is.... even when we start making a little run, you can't get excited about it, because you know we aren't going to get enough stops to really close the gap.

I guess that's the essence of pace though...in microcosm.

The macrocosm of pace is that even if we make a few good moves as a franchise (hiring Karl), Vivek will undoubtedly meddle and screw it all up again.

Think about it, you are a fan of team X, The Kings are coming to town... you're easily buying tickets to that game, because everyone knows when your team plays The Kings, not only will you get the W, but it will be a high scoring extravaganza, and maybe you'll see someone get a career high in points!

In exchange, who knows what Vivek gets.... probably something boring like money.

I got back from walking my dogs and checked the TV. First place my eyes went was .37 remaining. My next thought was "please let it be 4th quarter and not 3rd quarter.". Who says there is no God - and thank heavens for small blessings.

I did not need to check the score... this was so obviously not our day at half time. I just wanted it to be over.

It's more this obsession with the style of play than who is coaching. Not that hard to figure out that the best we've played is when our coach ignored the direction of the FO.

Clearly, Malone is a future HOFer coach.... Because before Cuz went down, we were winning.

I expect us to be better next season under Karl though, he is a legit coaching talent.

Maybe a few roster moves as well. All we need is a starting PF, a backup PF, a backup C, a starting SG, a backup SG, a backup SF, and a few defensive role players.... After we get all those players, we're set!

Oh, and pace. We could always use more pace.
