Ben's had a rough couple of weeks and we could have really used November/December Ben in this one. 1 for 18 on three pointers (as a team) and we essentially lose by a basket. As much as I love Cousins, we really need to have some kind of offense we can run when he's not on the floor. Derrick Williams post-ups and Darren Collison dribbling around hunting for jumpers is not... ideal.

Anyone else see the look in DMC's eyes after that bull**** call?...
He wanted to kick the ball into the crowd. He almost went full Nick Nolte.
But he didn't. If I were Cousins, I'd have been ****ed, too. Lauren Holtkamp's definitely not getting a Valentine from me, I'll tell you that much. But he kept his composure, even though he may have wanted to melt down, and that counts more than what he almost did.

Also, on that subject, having watched the NOP/BOS game last night, **** YOU, Cedric Maxwell!

All I want is some back to back wins... to be .500 or higher... to have more wins this season than last season... to see DMC at NYC

Actually I and pretty much the rest of the board can and will tell you otherwise. You just won't accept it. And that's fine.
Collison went 6-20. 6-20 and missed a FT that would've cut the lead down to 1.

He's supposed to be our 3rd best player, and he didn't step up nor show up when we needed him. Terrible all around. Plus, terrible defense tonight.

JT couldn't make his FTs.. 1/2 both trips to the line. If he had made his last FT, it would've been a tied game with under a minute to go.

DMC forced for the triple double and that's why we lost.

I love how people jump in and make random ludicrous comments when they rarely if ever participate in any real discussions.

DMC didn't force a damned thing. Rudy was hurt and had to leave. Nobody could hit a 3. The rookie official was totally fooled by Tyson Chandler and DMC was fouled out erroneously. Corbin made a critical error in time management in O/T., But hey...you want to blame Cousins, feel free to do so. Don't expect to have any credibility around here in the future.

Well, at least you're consistently wrong. Nobody can blame you for hypocrisy, so you've got that going for you.
I'm wrong for believing that a player going 6-20 and letting a player who shoots under .400% shoot .625% on him cost us the game??

Ok. Maybe, I should've worded it differently. We weren't able to close out the game because Demarcus Cousins went away from what he does best, which is scoring, in order to get that last assist for a triple double. He's may be our franchise player but he's still prone to making mistakes just like everybody else. Big mistake in judgement right there on his part. IMO.

Yep. This team would be far better off had Demarcus not played tonight. Freaking choker.
Ew don't be sarcastic. It was obivious with all of those open situations... but hey i am DMC why don't i play for my stats tonigh, cuz... long time no triple double. Lol

Loved how we hung tough despite some shoddy performances and a lot of things going against us. Always hate losing, but these are the kind of losses you can live with. Played a top NBA team to the end and had a chance to win this one if a couple plays go differently.

Great performances from Cuz and Landry tonight. Our offense is damn tough to stop when those two get it going together. Only complaint I have from them is the 9 TO's from Cuz. Heroic effort, but that's simply way too many possessions to give away.

It's hard for me to fault Collison too much when he was put into an impossible situation in OT with both Rudy and Cousins already out of the game. He's a solid player but by no stretch of the imagination is a first or second option.
He was terrible the entire game though.

Yea, you can't expect much from a mediocre PG. I still believe PG is a weakness of this team. Collison is a solid 4th/5th option. He's the least of our problems right now though.

Tyrone Corbin "It was a 4 second difference, wanted to see if they were going to go quick or not, and they didn't so we fouled them". This statement makes 0 sense. Can we please get a coach already!?!?!?

I'm wrong for believing that a player going 6-20 and letting a player who shoots under .400% shoot .625% on him cost us the game??
Well, I'd already deleted that post but, since you quoted me, anyway, I'll answer: yes. However, you've also stated that you can't be convinced otherwise, so it's not worth my time to bother explaining anything. So I shan't.

6-20 shooting is perfectly fine, my mistake.

No, it's not perfectly fine. But it's not the reason we lost. You cannot point the finger at one or two guys and blame just them. There were errors of varying degrees by everybody BUT they had fought hard and were poised to win. They gave a great effort. An inexperienced rookie official took DMC out of the game. THAT was much more critical than Darren Collison.
