"we"? Funny to see a lot blame the refs on 1 call out of 40? Why not blame the overall performance of a player throughout the entire game?

I'm not blaming the refs. Look, you posted about 6 times in 2 pages that Collison sucked and cost us the game. Why keep posting it unless you were waiting for someone to comment? People did. You disagreed. Move on. There's nothing left to argue there.

He was terrible the entire game though.

Yea, you can't expect much from a mediocre PG. I still believe PG is a weakness of this team. Collison is a solid 4th/5th option. He's the least of our problems right now though.

Dude's 6th in the league for FG% and 3pt% among PGs. He had an off-night. 2 of those missed threes were at the end of the fourth and 2 were in OT. Yes it was a bad time to go cold. No it doesn't suddenly make him a mediocre PG.

Ok. Maybe, I should've worded it differently. We weren't able to close out the game because Demarcus Cousins went away from what he does best, which is scoring, in order to get that last assist for a triple double. He's may be our franchise player but he's still prone to making mistakes just like everybody else. Big mistake in judgement right there on his part. IMO.
At the end of the 4th quarter Cousins was literally swarmed every single possession. Scoring is all well and good but sometimes the smarter decision is to pass. The fact is we hit one three tonight. One. Half of them at least we're wide open. If anyone failed it was Ben, Nik, Ray, and Collison. Our guards besides Ben can't shoot for crap. We hit just 5 threes and you're talking about 12 extra points and you and I aren't having this discussion.

Anyone who suggests Cousins was playing for stats is a damn fool. He plays to win and had it not been for him we wouldn't even be sniffing a win this game. He is the engine of this team and the heart and soul. You know who plays for stats? Blake Griffin. Not our guy.

It's a byproduct of when you force players into roles they aren't comfortable with. Cuz and Rudy are as good as 1-2 punch as there is in the NBA, but we're extremely thin in reliable scoring options who can create for themselves after that. So when one goes down, or one isn't rolling the way we need him too, it forces guys like DC, Landry and Ben to step up and fill that void. Landry stepped up huge tonight, but we basically didn't have a single other guy other than Cuz who hit shots tonight. DC was a part of that contribution, not the sole reason.

Stop whining about it. You were clearly looking for an argument over it. We responded. Move on.
"we"?
Yes, "we." As in, you posted something inflammatory, and "we" responded to it. Just like when HereWeBoogie posted that photoshopped picture of Cousins in a Sonics jersey earlier; you knew what you were going for when you posted that. You might as well have, instead, made a post that just said, "I dare you guys to flame me!"

Also, as sdballer alluded to, whether it was deliberate or not, it most certainly seemed like you didn't get the initial response that you were hoping for, so you kept repeating yourself until you did.

Does it bother anyone else seeing the Mavs not hitting anything from 3 and Cousins still had to play that far out of his mind for this team to even be competitive in this one?

Get this man some more help D'alessandro.

He was swarmed because they knew exactly where the ball was going. I don't disagree that he plays to win the majority of the time, but you gotta be pretty blind or delusional to see that he didn't change the way that he was playing when he got close to getting the triple double. Cmon now.

Cmon, VF you can't truthfully say that Cousins didn't force a couple of those assists at the end.

When most of your teammates stand and watch you get doubled what pass isn't a force? Hopefully one day every player sans McCallum and DWill (tonight) learn that if they move Big Cuz will find them.

That end to this game gave me back flashbacks of Kobe Bryant walking over Bibby in the lane and the foul was on Bibby in the playoffs. I felt the same frustration with D.M.C fouling out at the end of this game. Everyone in the NBA knows the last possession of the game your supposed to let the players play a little bit. That is unless the refs want to control the outcome of the game....... I guess my frustration is far to often the Kings seems to be on the short end of this stick.

I'd be astonished if he even knew he was close to a triple double. He probably didn't find out until after he was disqualified.

DMC looks shell-shocked in the locker room. He's being very careful not to say what he thinks about that call, instead going with the glassy-eyed soft-spoken "It happens."

He asks how many turnovers the Kings had, shakes his head and says that's not good.

"I can't even really put my mind together on plays that happened..." He really looks totally and completely exhausted, mentally and physically. He's not answering some questions... He's truly at a loss for words (at least those that won't get him fined).
