That was one of the worst jumpshots Ive ever seen by Jason Thompson
How does the guy FORGET how to shoot?
2 seasons ago, he was fairly money with that shot - now he's airballing them consistently.
I thought guys were supposed to get BETTER with shooting as they got older and more experienced?

Off-topic but Vucevic was out tonight for Orlando. Will he play tomorrow against the Kings?

Why does Luis Scola always kill the Kings whenever he plays them?

Why again did the Kings not get him when they could have?
Why did some KF's say he was "too old" back then?

Maybe it's time we recognize that South American players actually improve with age, like a nice wine.

Good to see the team play well to start the 3rd. Speaking of 3rd, Hibbert just got his 3rd foul

Well, you can't play the starters the whole 2nd half... maybe the subs won't shtoink it this time.

They were talking about him shooting a lot of 3 pointers in the preseason. I wonder if he took his mid range shot for granted and lost some touch in that range?

The reality of rookie projections is that they are exactly that; projections. Unless an Anthony Davis or LeBron James walks into the league (which, there are very few Anthony Davis or LeBron James caliber of players who walk into this league) no one knows what sort of success a guy will have until we actually start seeing them play.

I'm perfectly fine holding my opinion off on Stauskas until a later date just as I did with Ben last season. Thankfully, we're in a position where we don't need Nik to contribute to win games. So keep giving him minutes and exposure to the NBA and hope we see dividends of that patience down the line.
