Am I the only one offended that Pop hasn't taken a TO yet ? Maybe he's heard that the Kings don't hold onto leads?
That's Pop's MO. He has always done that and usually works out well for them.Am I the only one offended that Pop hasn't taken a TO yet ? Maybe he's heard that the Kings don't hold onto leads?
I wish that would work for us... would sure save us a lot of timeoutsPop NEVER takes timeouts in situations like that. He lets the team play through it.
He probably thinks they need a challengeAm I the only one offended that Pop hasn't taken a TO yet ? Maybe he's heard that the Kings don't hold onto leads?
I just wish we could acquire a legit PF, that could move Thompson to the bench. I know that Reggie Evans is the favorite son of a lot of people around here but, as much as I've been anti-Landry, I'd keep him over Evans for the offense. I don't like Evans as a starter at all, and I like the idea of Thompson and Landry as the backups way more than Evans and Landry.I think JT has been the Kings best/ most valuable King tonight. Keeping the bench from playing undersized, hasn't sat yet, and basically defending Tim Duncan as well as you possibly can.

The NBA expected to rescind DeMarcus Cousins' technical foul vs Memphis.
No.Did Cuz even get any PT in the 2nd?
I like that. Gives players some sort of mental fortitude. "If you are going through hell, keep going."Pop NEVER takes timeouts in situations like that. He lets the team play through it.
He's right. A timeout doesn't always stop a run. It merely pauses it.Pop NEVER takes timeouts in situations like that. He lets the team play through it.
You also can afford to do those things frequently when your team has won 5 rings under you. I am not sure how well it would fly for a team like us that has just begun to play together along with many new faces. It "forces" and teaches player to think for themselves. Increases poise and IQ in the long term
At work, why did Cuz only play 9 min.?
Jason Thompson is a specialist in the same way that Reggie Evans is a specialist. The difference is that Thompson's 'specialty' is guarding power bigs. All things being equal, I consider that specialty to be more useful to this team than Evans' specialty.JT has been excellent for us in the first half! Great D on Duncan, moved the ball, hit the boards and just did his job damn well!
Mills has been injured since the summer. Separated shoulder, IIRC.What happened to Patty Mills?? Is he injured?
