After a very long, passionate argument with a friend recently I want your opinions, whis is YOUR favorite movie sequel of all time? I go with the obvious choice of "Godfather II" which was exceptionally written and acted. Just a timeless piece of work. She said for her Star Wars was best.. what is your take?

Bad Boys 2. The only sequel that I've seen that was better than the original.

I agree completely.

However, I would also say Meet the Fockers was pretty darn funny and I think I like it a tad more than the original.

Superman II
"Son of Jorel...KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!!!!!!!"

Rocky III
"Prediction? Paaaaiiiinnnn!"

Rocky IV
"I must b-l-reak you!"

The Empire Strikes Back
"Why you stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy looking...NERFHERDER!"

the two towers and return of the king!

easy call on that question :D
the voids Tow Towers Return of the King... First Tolkin wrote one big book that his publisers broke up into 3 volumes, secondly I would not consider installments in a series sequels.

Now Ernst Goes to Camp... THATS a sequel!

By FAR the best sequel of all time is...

A L I E N S

That might well be it.

But honorable mention has to go to a flick like Batman & Robin, where Batman with nipples chased aroudn the Gubernator.

Or Dumb & Dumberer, which described what happened if you watched More Fast More Furiouser.

Nor can you forget Jaws IV: Sharks in Paradise, where a great white finds a way to follow an airplane down to the Bahamas, and the idiots it is after can't figure out the best way not to get eaten is just to move to Kansas.

I am also partial to Jack Frost II, in which hordes of mutant killer snowballs are caused to burst from the inside out by the application of a bananna daiquiri.

Am still eagerly awaiting Debbie Does the Rest of Texas.

Poor George. He'd have been a great Batman in a better movie.

LOL. I caught the first Jack Frost one late night New Year's Eve on HBO years ago. Just couldn't resist watching a really bad horror movie about a giant monster snowman who murders and rapes his way around town. I liked it when he pronounced himself as "one pissed-off snowcone".

But getting back to the subject of this thread, I agree that 'Aliens' is by far the best sequel ever. I don't consider any of the Star Wars movies to be sequels because technically, the Star Wars format is supposed to be multiple movies, so they're not really sequels.
