2007 revisited, ESPNS Mock Draft 4.0 posted tue 6-19
They have us taking Hawes. problem is that it looks like we get Hawes based on Y falling to the bulls and Noah being taken in the top 10. both of which i personaly dont think are strong bets. Noah could very well fall to us or past us. and Y could go as high as #5. i cant belive that Hawes could go to the bulls over us because we beat the freakin clippers! and then got screwed with the tie breaker.(i hate you MUSS!) also J. Wright dropped to 14th.
Again if we did walk away with Hawes, got another first round pick and drafted Jason Smith i could not explain how happy i'd be. we need to get Bigs this draft. next year there will be Guards. also if we could add dorell wright and filler for Artest. we got a solid really young team. i really like the idea of playing 2 centers Hawes and Miller together. its like the super poor mans twin towers. Miller would play well at the 4 on offense. and could guard the slowest man on defense (so probably 5)
Bibby / Price / Douby
Martin / Garcia
D. Wright / Salmons
Miller / Smith
Hawes / Williams
I think this is a 8th seed team. but maybe this also puts us back in the lotto for a PG. i didnt put SAR or Thomas cause im sure one will not be back(likely SAR)
