To anyone and everyone that would listen. I get it. My basketball existence doesnt start until i join Kingsfans.com.
Naah. I was already an old poster over here, when we drafted Kevin Martin:

I was just curious, since, like me, many of us came here from elsewhere.
By the way, just between us, I think there have been many poor draft choices endorsed by most of us kingsfans posters. That's not to say that we were dumb or anything, things just don't always work out as expected. Almost all of us were drooling over Oden (I plead as guilty as anyone). Many really liked Beasley. And then there were oohs and aahs over Griffin and Thabeet, who may some day be something in the NBA, but aren't much now. (I like Bajaden too much to quote his post about how JT was a better risk than Westbrook.) We loved how those guys seemed like they'd fit into our team, but couldn't forsee that none of them would have had any real impact on the NBA by now.
We've all blown it before, I freely admit that. But bringing up Rubio as an example is really weak. Try again later, after he's played a couple of years in the NBA. Right now, it's not a sound argument, or one that either side can hope to win. It's like saying that Griffin was a wasted pick... or a great one. An argument like that may work some day, but not today.
Meanwhile, if all of us kingsfans folks agree that we really want to draft a particular player, it's probably a safe bet that they'll be hit by a train before the season opens. Hope that we get someone else, anyone else!
