If we draft Ezeli I don't think there is any way we bring back JT.
If Taylor isn't starting at the beginning of the season, I would expect him to be the starter by the end of it...if we're lucky enough for him to drop.
I wish we'd make a move to ensure that we can shore up our SF hole.
IT did great as a starter, and his defense was stellar for a man his size (was among league leaders in opp fg%). My only worries is when he has to guard SGs in a switch. Better than the alternative (Evans playing PG)
Jeff Taylor, Quincy Miller, Marguis Teague, that Ezeli guy, and that mystery SF Kostas Papanikolaou still on the board.
I hope Taylor or Quincy Miller drops to the Kings.
Kostas, Miller, or Taylor .. please!
backup plan - Kyle O'Quinn.
Sorry, but Stern has stepped up and keeps stepping up for Sacramento in a big way. You will not find me calling him any names. How much of a douche is David Stern?
The whole "for his size" thing is whats always worried me. Hes a hell of a backup PG in my book but not starting material.
If you had to be an ex NBA coach or current NBA FO employee to have an opinion,we wouldn't have journalists. Our FO has made a number of mistakes the last 6-7 years and Jerry is a key part of that, like it or not.
If you were responding to a question of mine, thanks. If you weren't, thanks anyway.![]()
Kostas makes a whole lot of sense. Doesn't clog up a roster spot. Can come in after next season when Cisco is off the books. If he's there, I think we're taking him.
Left on the board:
Quincy Miller, Kosta, Furkan Aldemir, Tyshawn Taylor, Darius Miller, Will Barton, Drew Gordon....
The Kings did not worked out any of these guys though... Hm....
They did worked out Kyle O'Quinn and Kim English....
We weren't going to get that in the draft though this year. There weren't any players at #5 that could defend, block shots, rebound, with an offensive game. 3 out of 4 isn't bad though. Ever other player that can do all of the 4 things above are either huge gambles or just average in those 4 areas.
