If we draft Ezeli I don't think there is any way we bring back JT.
If Taylor isn't starting at the beginning of the season, I would expect him to be the starter by the end of it...if we're lucky enough for him to drop.
I wish we'd make a move to ensure that we can shore up our SF hole.
Btw, don't think Oaklahoma is a good fit for PJ3. He wants to be a SF and they already got one (ha, don't they ever!). The Thunder will want him to play in the post and play tough, but that's not PJ3. But I guess he's too good to pass up for the Thunder.
IT did great as a starter, and his defense was stellar for a man his size (was among league leaders in opp fg%). My only worries is when he has to guard SGs in a switch. Better than the alternative (Evans playing PG)
I don't want him as a starting PG long term either, but right now I don't think he's making the team any worse than what it was. Not to mention he's proving a lot of people wrong by playing some good defense. I want to see him get the other guard involved more. It's usually either him or a big that gets most of the shots.
If you had to be an ex NBA coach or current NBA FO employee to have an opinion,we wouldn't have journalists. Our FO has made a number of mistakes the last 6-7 years and Jerry is a key part of that, like it or not.
I don't disagree with you. Everyone has opinion. However, I'm not telling people that they "just don't get it" when they don't see eye to eye with me. None of us have the credentials to claim superiority over anybody else. And yes, while Jerry Reynolds has been part of the mistakes, he's also played a part in some of the past success. Regardless, he's been closer to the game than any of us for a long, long time now. While that doesn't make his opinions correct all the time, it does lend him more credibility than the armchair fan, like that or not. I just find it a bit hypocritical on Brick's part that he touts his years of wisdom on this site and how much he's seen over the years as a way of validating his opinion on shotblocking yet completely discounts Jerry Reynolds opinion when he's seen so much more. That's all I'm saying.
I hate Char. Didn't before, do now. Took MKG. Then took Taylor. Took the two SF's I thought we'd have a chance at. Hope you guys in Char don't win 10 game next year.
Kostas makes a whole lot of sense. Doesn't clog up a roster spot. Can come in after next season when Cisco is off the books. If he's there, I think we're taking him.
The Bobcats taking Taylor is baffling. I am hoping for Jae Crowder now. Pure hustle and a great defensive player. Has decent offensive game, not the greatest 3 point shooter though.

We weren't going to get that in the draft though this year. There weren't any players at #5 that could defend, block shots, rebound, with an offensive game. 3 out of 4 isn't bad though. Ever other player that can do all of the 4 things above are either huge gambles or just average in those 4 areas.
Agreed, I wasn't looking for a shotblocker at #5. I was looking for MICHAEL KIDD GILCHRIST (and maybeeee Harrison Barnes..but not really sold on that). But since MKG was taken before us I'm perfectly fine with the T-Rob pick. But being fine/happy with the pick doesn't = we have solved our problems.
