Positives: really exceptional shotblocker, with an acceptable offensive game to go with it. In the preseason, got 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 blocks per 48. Blocked that well in college, too, so it wasn't a statistical fluke.

Negatives: Tweener (6'8", 220 lbs), will turn 25 in December.

Yes, I'm sick of tweeners, and 24 is old enough that he may not get a lot better. But compared to an empty roster slot, it doesn't seem so bad.

Right... Mbenga, Matt Barnes (waived twice!), Azubuike, Stephen Jackson, Bruce Bowen, Medvedenko, Kurt Rambis, Scot Pollard, Ime Udoka, Beno Udrih, Trenton Hassell and many others show that if you get waived as a young player it's obvious that you can't play.

Grow him 4 inches, and he might have a real career.
