How about this trade:

Being Traded To Kings:

J.J. Redick $2,839,408 1 Year
R. Anderson $1,317,120 2 Years
M. Pietrus $5,300,000 2 Years
M. Gortat $5,854,000 5 Years

Being Traded To Magic:
S. Hawes $2,332,800 2 Years
J. Thompson $2,035,920 2 Years
Kevin Martin $9,680,170 4 Years

As for the magic-side of the trade, you would rid yourself of an inconsistent albeit sweet-shooting swingman (Peaches) for a consistent all-star caliber swingman (Martin). Martin could be paired with Vince (with half man half amazing at the 3). This would be a deadly shooting line-up. Thompson could play alongside Dwight and be a scrapper/rebounder and post threat (think Gasol Bynum), or come off the bench to preserve the 4 out and 1 in (with rashard at the 4). Hawes would provide a different look entirely with Bass or Thompson as the physical 5-esque presence. But, presuming rashard does not last for several more years, you would lose Anderson's three-point threat. Just think of Martin playing the scorer 6-man role such as jamal crawford, or a three-man act of nelson, martin, and carter is very scary (if they could learn to co-exist) with thompson/rashard and dwight for boarders.

On the Kings side, things are rosy, too. Anderson would come home to sactown. He would be cleared outside at the three so that Tyreke could drive at will. Casspi and Anderson, Udrih and Redick would provide the Kings a new sniper crew. And, Gortat would provide the blocks and rebounds from center that the kings need. Redick would be great with Tyreke, right? He could morph into a point guard at times and offer the shooting threat that Tyreke would be best coupled with.
What do you think guys?

We're not giving up enough in this trade! How about we throw in our 1st rounders for the next five even-numbered years and 50% ownership of the Palms?

**** no.

LMFAO at the homer magic fans!!

They think this would be lopsided on their end..

"Ryan Anderson is the next Dirk Nowitzki so no."

"Well thought out, but no thanks. Kmart is good, but not that good. And I really like the four players included on our end."

No, but does this even work, because I know Gortat is BYC. But since this is such bullocks I am not even going to visit realgm to find out.

What do you think guys?

I think I'd like to order what you've been drinking.

This is one of the worst trades i have seen in awhile. I would give them all three of those guys for Dwight maybe but not for a bunch of bums.

You know what's interesting... on the Magic board 3/4 of them believe this is lopsided in our favor.

Just visited that forum. Wow, that must be the stupidest bunch of people ever known to man kind. Jesus, can someone post the link to this thread on their site so they can see what knowlegable basketball fans have to say about this disgusting trade proposal?

I'm guessing Magic fans don't watch a lot of Kings games. Yeah...um...Ryan Anderson is about as good as Thompson...right?...[crickets]...

I almost signed up just to point out how lame they are.

I think that that trade doesn't give the Magic enough. After all, Reddick is a stud and Pietrus is the second coming. I think we should add Donte, 'Reke, and Omri to sweeten the deal. How does that sound?

My favorite part was the part where they said that K-Mart isn't as good as Reddick and Pietrus.

Oh, and this little gem:
Ryan Anderson is the next Dirk Nowitzki so no.

If you want a player so bad from our team, we will give you Foyle.
:eek::eek::eek:

What the hell are they smoking in Florida?

Actually, what's remarkable about this trade is that it really isn't a good trade for the Magic either. They would win big on pure talent and value, but in terms of need and system fit it might make their team worse. Pietrus as a wing defender for Kobe, Lebron, and Paul Pierce is one of their most important players. Gortat's defense and rebounding are more valuable behind Howard then what Hawes would bring...and having Vince Carter and Kevin Martin on the same team is completely pointless. JT's traditional 4 game would slot in well next to Howard, but they have the best system for Ryan Anderson's game. So even that's a wash at best.

So while obviously its much worse for the Kings, it really doesn't help the Magic either. If the Magic wanted to talk trade with us they'd be after guys like Udrih, Casspi, and Greene.

C'mon guys, have you even SEEN JJ Redick in college? HE WAS AMAZING! And Ryan Anderson is a Sacramento native, that alone means this trade needs to be done asap.

LOL!

This is horrible.

Like it was said, 3 starters for a bunch of bench players.

A little advise.....think the trade through more before posting it on a Kings forum.
