I already listed this on the magic message board ... http://orlandomagiczone.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/8891029871/m/395106307
How about this trade:
Being Traded To Kings:
J.J. Redick $2,839,408 1 Year
R. Anderson $1,317,120 2 Years
M. Pietrus $5,300,000 2 Years
M. Gortat $5,854,000 5 Years
Being Traded To Magic:
S. Hawes $2,332,800 2 Years
J. Thompson $2,035,920 2 Years
Kevin Martin $9,680,170 4 Years
As for the magic-side of the trade, you would rid yourself of an inconsistent albeit sweet-shooting swingman (Peaches) for a consistent all-star caliber swingman (Martin). Martin could be paired with Vince (with half man half amazing at the 3). This would be a deadly shooting line-up. Thompson could play alongside Dwight and be a scrapper/rebounder and post threat (think Gasol Bynum), or come off the bench to preserve the 4 out and 1 in (with rashard at the 4). Hawes would provide a different look entirely with Bass or Thompson as the physical 5-esque presence. But, presuming rashard does not last for several more years, you would lose Anderson's three-point threat. Just think of Martin playing the scorer 6-man role such as jamal crawford, or a three-man act of nelson, martin, and carter is very scary (if they could learn to co-exist) with thompson/rashard and dwight for boarders.
On the Kings side, things are rosy, too. Anderson would come home to sactown. He would be cleared outside at the three so that Tyreke could drive at will. Casspi and Anderson, Udrih and Redick would provide the Kings a new sniper crew. And, Gortat would provide the blocks and rebounds from center that the kings need. Redick would be great with Tyreke, right? He could morph into a point guard at times and offer the shooting threat that Tyreke would be best coupled with.
What do you think guys?
