Well I'm not a Plumlee fan, but he's be OK as a emergency backup center, or a future throw in on a trade. I've always liked Faried, but not sure how he would fit on our team. That said, I do like Lyles, and would do the trade just to get him. He's young, he can shoot the three, he rebounds, and he'll work hard on defense. I don't think Malachi has a future on this team, so as much as I might like him, I'd be willing to give him up. Neither Koufos or Hill have a future on the team, so I'll miss Kosta, but in general, I would do this deal.
What I'm curious about is, do you ever propose a trade with just one player for one player? It's lot simpler when your trading one for one than trying to move two or three players at the same time. In Hills case, because of his large salary, it's hard not to have more than one player involved.
However I do have a trade that won't happen, but works on paper. The Pelicans have to make a decision on Cousins, and if they decide to sign him, and he agrees, he'll be making around 42 mil a year. When you figure that their payroll is going to be around 95 or so mil before the signing, Cousins contract would put them seriously into the luxury tax penalty. That's a lot of money for a team that's only battling to make the playoffs. And, they'll have no capspace to sign anyone of significance. So, we trade Hill straight up for Cousins and bring the big boy back home. They make almost the same amount of money right now. Vlade would look like a genius.

Of course this isn't going to happen, but just think of it, Bricky would have to come back as well. It would be worth doing just for that....
