[DAL/MEM] Time of death...

Really did expect this to go to at least 5. Damn. That's just horrible... 3 years in a row of being swept in the playoffs.

Grizz will need to make a few adjustments/additions in the off-season, indeed. Damon going out for the year put them a step back, he was so huge for them.

Its hard to tell what they are going to do, because frankly Jerry West has been anything but legendary as their GM. I would think that yet another disappointment would make them serious players in the trade market, snap them out of the water treading. But we'll see if that fire still burns with him.

They need to get a star wing guy to play alongside Pau and maybe Damon. Likely meaning trading 1-2 of Battier/Miller/EJ w/ filler. I think they gotta keep Battier, and add to the bench a bit.

Iverson?

Many media pundits have made the same case against JWest, arguing that he should've traded for Vince Carter (would he have flourished without Kidd?) or Ron Artest, and they are probably right. Not to mention that the Grizzlies drafts of recent years have been terrible ever since JWest showed up, including taking Drew Gooden with the 4th pick (and I think Amare went 9th that year).

The Grizz just didn't have the mental fortitude to win one game...couldn't control the defensive glass (despite having decent size and athleticism), and couldn't shoot free throws very well. They missed painfully makable shots throughout the series. They probably should've held onto the 6th seed.
