To address the erronious allegation made by the starter of this thread I wish to say how pleased I was with the way the ball was distributed and how especially Cat's game meshes with Bibby's. Throw in the defense he's been playing and the positive attitude he displayed today by playing hurt along with fitting right in without benefit of practice and I think he's been all we could have asked for. To accuse him of being a ball hog based on one play cited is not only unfair but short sighted.

Just wondering: why did he get banned? I mean, he was a bit out of line, but you guys jumped on him pretty hard and it was kinda self defense.
Not to mention, its worth discussing in light of Peja's recent comments about the team favoring a one-on-one style and losing two of our best passers (Vlade and Doug). Maybe a new thread is in order?
BTW, great win! Watching it with really excitable Telemundo announcers made it twice as much fun.

Welcome to Kingsfans. M3s3elf, set him/her self up with the title of the thread and his/her tone. It did not help that there is scant evidence to support his/her position as many posters pointed out before the banning. But hey thats just my view. Pedja is entitled to his own opinon and givne the number of sweet passes he got from Vlade and DC I can see where his view comes from. Truth of the Matter is that the Kings starting center Brad Miller has 154 assists this season to Vlade's 4, and since the trade Cat has 29 assits to Doug's 21. Sure issues like PT and team dynamics are the explinations, but there is NO evidnece that keeping either Vlade or DC would have benifited the Kings, and much evidence that the current line up is performing at a verry very high level.

My thoughts without seeing the game, reading this thread and looking over the stats.

I have supported CAT since day one. I said when the trade went down that his Assists would go up and they have, his TO's would go up and they did.

His stats show him being anything but a ball hog.

I really can't believe that someone posted that Cat is a ball hog...geez look who we had yesterday, i know a lot of people said this already but i wasn't able to get on til now. He had to shoot the ball, and 23 points isn't like he was trying to score 50. Look how good he played against spree and cassel, who else has really been able to do that? Cassel killed us last year...i think Cat did great, given the circumstances i think cat took as many shots as he needed to take. We got the win...be satisfied. I am, and everyone else seems to be also.
