i somewhat agree, that cat does shoot a lot...and it gets irritating when hes missing and he still forces them up....but just like every shooter, hes streaky.....i rather have cat shooting all of those shots then webber, webber doesnt realize when hes off either.....

great performances by EVERYBODY today baby MADE MY DAY

Youre not kidding, but someone was arguing with me even after that game that Cat needed to "pass the rock" more. Also that if he has a poor shooting first half he should get less aggressive! What an idiot!

My point is mostly that he often looses the ball while trying to drive, or takes a shot too quickly when 2 Kings are wide open and he never even looked for them!

The truth is that his driving to the basket gives us a slashing threat, just like Peja gives us an outside threat, and Chris for that matter, and Brad too, and don't forget Bibby. Cat provides something different.
GOOD THINGS HAPPENS WHEN YOU TAKE IT TO THE HOOP

Your point isn't very good.

That's the attitude of a lakers fan! Kings are a passing TEAM!

Lets see... we dont have our best deep threat (Peja) due to injury, we dont have our best passer (Webber) due to injury...

A win is a win... last time I checked... thats what all the players and coaches cared about.

cuttino was the one of the biggest reasons the kings won this game.He seems to dominate cassell and sprewell. He plays well against them he doesn't allow cassells flop hold hugging hug you mind games to mess with his game.Last season with the rockets I believe they swept the wolves in the regualr season. The wolves didn't want to play the rockets last year in first round and cuttino as well as steve francis had alot to do with that.Sprewell is a cat and he plays his best against doug christie the dog.Sprewell and doug I remember a few seasons ago almost came to blows one time.Sprewell to me seems to try to prove something to webber when webb plays. But this playoff year cassell and spree's dominance over the kings guard play may be different with cuttino mobley playing in the backcourt as a KING.

Cuttino Mobley was a huge reason we won today. If you don't recognize that, you have problems - lots of problems.

You might want to try one of the other boards. One where people aren't expected to make logical or coherent posts.

Good luck.

Eventualy passend must end and a shot has to be taken. Cat was brought in to score points and with Webb and Pedja out he did his best. He takes shots, some perhaps ill advised but he not the point gaurd he is the SHOOTING gaurd.

As the first member to jump on The Cats Bandwagon the night of the trade i would like to say yes maybe but how many other players in the NBA do the same thing. 100%. Hey if we win the championship this year would you please come back after that to see if you could possibly suck all the fun out of that as well. Geez

Yes there are other players who do that, but I don't think they would fit in on the Kings either! I want to win a ring too, but I don't want to see one player come in and change the whole dynamics of the TEAM to do it. Other players have earned the right to take a shot when they're WIDE OPEN!

I can't believe this but Im actually agreeing with Shaka! Did you guys see Cat talking to Golem? Not to mention that delay at the end of the half...his head games and aggresiveness really worked today.

And let the record reflect this momentous day in history. I actually agreed with shaka about something.

Mostly that he often? What the heck is that. The guy had 1 turnover today and 4 assist. Bibby had 3 turnovers i guess he sucks to. you really should restart your brain its freezing up again.

So if Ostertag is open at the three they should all feed him the ball?

How about one where people are open minded about criticism!

Earned a right to take a shot when they're open? How? Collecting cans? Saving stamps? Returning shopping carts to the checkout area?

This is the best laugh I've had in a very long time. Cuttino Mobley did EXACTLY what he was brought to Sacramento to do.

Changed the dynamics of the team? DUDE - we were without 40% of our starters today. The dynamics had already changed. Thank God, Cat and Mike and Brad and Barnes and Darius stepped up and did what needed to be done.

You really need to learn a bit about the Sacramento Kings before you come here and make comments that expose your dreadful lack of knowledge of the team, the game, etc.

If they did, he would probably realize that he doesn't have a great chance of scoring and he'd LOOK FOR THE OPEN MAN!!!

Sure. Good luck finding one that has more honest and open criticism about the Kings than we do.

The difference is that our posters, bless them all, generally know what they're talking about.

haha i love this the points i was making about Mobley when he was traded here and i got scoffed at by the same ppl makeing the same points i did. Its wonderful. The Cat rocks.

Really, with a premise of the biggest ballhog in Kings history after 8 games, you might want to check again who is "closed-minded."

I've been impressed with his D too. When the trade happened I was worried we were just trading offense for defense, but Mobley's defense is better than I expected. Yes, he's no Doug Christie, but he holds his own.

I have to give you credit. You're consistent in your ignorance.

Just who did you want Cat to pass to? And why is it only one particular play you're so upset about?

Does Mommy know you're on the computer?
