Seriously, with 3 people on him and instead of realizing that that means he has 2 team mates that are open, he tries to drive though them and he doesn't even get the foul calls! I think he had a total of about 2 passes in the whole game against the T-Wolves!

And we won take that negative crap to the Minnesota board buddy. Its no longer wanted here. bye bye

How stupid can you be? How do you get 4 assists(he should have had 5 on that sweet pass to Bibby) if you only pass twice??

This might win the first post of the year award! ;)

Whar? I thought that award was already reserved for the only player to make others around him worse, a certian #4!....You guys are really confusing me

funny he had 10 assist couple of nights ago ... yep i guess he is a ball hog..

So I guess you guys didn't see any times where he should have at least looked for the pass? Gimme a break!

If his ball hoging, which he didnt do, gets us a win... then who cares? Remmeber, Webber and Peja werent out there... maybe he felt he needed to step up, which he did need to do.

A win is a win... who cares...

Give you a break? Why? You're totally clueless.

The truth is that his driving to the basket gives us a slashing threat, just like Peja gives us an outside threat, and Chris for that matter, and Brad too, and don't forget Bibby. Cat provides something different.

That's the attitude of a lakers fan! Kings are a passing TEAM!

not a good way to start your first post :)

Let's not beat him up over a flagrant exaggeration. Mobley never was a pass-first player. In the assists department, he's no Jason Kidd, or for that matter, Doug Christie. But he does bring other things...

Yeah, but Peja, Chris, Brad, and Bibby also give others a chance to do what they do best. Cutino brings it down court and never takes his eyes off the hoop.

Mobley did what he needed to do today to get a win. ALL the players played great! Bibby was complimenting Mobley in his interview after the game and specifically mentioned that Mobley is a great shooter, and that he looks for other players when he doesn't have a shot. Obviously Bibby doesn't think he is a ball hog. I guess there's always going to be something to complain about if you really want to, but after a win like this, who feels like complaining??

Right now, I"m celebrating the win. Really sucks to see this thread come up. :(

I agree with you. I'm so happy the Kings won without their good players and this thread somes up saying Mobley is a ballhog.

As the first member to jump on The Cats Bandwagon the night of the trade i would like to say yes maybe but how many other players in the NBA do the same thing. 100%. Hey if we win the championship this year would you please come back after that to see if you could possibly suck all the fun out of that as well. Geez

Youre not kidding, but someone was arguing with me even after that game that Cat needed to "pass the rock" more. Also that if he has a poor shooting first half he should get less aggressive! What an idiot!

Like we wouldn't have won if we still had Christie instead of Mobley?

You do have a point. Once Mobley drove the ball when Ostertag was cleary open for a 30 ft jumper. Now i do think Tag should have gotten the ball on that play.

I love Doug Christie, but today I think we were better off having Mobley. We needed someone who could put 20+ points up, and Mobley came through.
