So will the time off help or hurt Lebron James and the Cavs as they start to battle the Celtics?

It will help. And going 7 games with Atlanta hurts the old geisers. I don't see Boston going all the way. And if they don't, they are one year older next year; after that they can start rebuilding all over again.

Boston had matchup problems with the Hawks. Don't count them out yet. They will win the title.

that was a ugly game going by the box score.... lebron was like 2/18 and still almost had a triple double...

Whatddyaknow? The Celtics scrape through with the help of the ol' wolves tandem of KG/Cassell and LBJ/PP engage in a great suckitude duel for the ages. Oh well, at least Ray Allen's jumper looked sweet in his milk carton photo.

any reason behind this?? just curious.

obviously pulling for boston here, and i think they should win this series in six.

game 1 was rather boring IMO, cant stand sam cassell.

Boston annoys me because the way they acted in the ATL series with all the trash talking and running around acting retarded. I really really don't like that team. The Cavs annoy me and LeBron is so full of himself. Half the players on that team like Damon Jones are more like fans of LeBron than actual players anyway. People say Detroit is arrogant, not nearly as much as these teams IMO:eek:

Same here, I was rooting for Boston until Game 2. Now I can't stand any of the teams in the East except for Orlando. Would love to see Orlando vs. New Orleans in the Finals, but that will never happen. :o

Well, I'm very happy that Cavaliers are about to eliminate Boston, even if it means that it's easier job for the Lakers in the finals.
Teams which collect loser superstars from around the league annoy me.

Apropos of nothing, Kevin Harlan needs to call all the games. On all the networks. Seriously. ABC needs to hire him yesterday.

"LeBron James... with no regard for human life!"

Harlan + Hubie = Emmy.

I agree about Harlan, but Hubie is annoying and often overexplains the most obvious things... I can just hear him saying: "The main thing is, in order to walk you have to put one leg in front of the other!" Doug Collins does a better job in my opinion.

yeah, I would agree with that.

And that "with no regard for human life!" call had me cracking up on the couch too.

I can only imagine what it was like before he went national, and had to dial it down a notch... in Minnesota, calling games for a young Garnett...

I think Harlan was responsible for an "Easy Rider" call (re: JR Rider) back in the day as well. He was certainly in the right place last night...

i think they need to make the rims wider and let them use WNBA balls or something. Maybe only allow 4 players on defense?

this offense is just AWFUL

You know, this is NOT the series I thought it would be and, quite frankly, I'm not seeing the SHOCK AND AWE I thought I would be witnessing from this current assemblage of Boston Celtics. I'll be honest - this has been a big disappointment. Yes, they're beating the Cavaliers but I honestly think our Kings could have beaten the Cavaliers in a best of 7. Boy, the East sucks...
