Can you bring SLR cameras to Sleep Train?

they usually distinguish pro cameras as anything having a lens longer than x amount.

So, if your slr has a long lens, you'd probably want to keep it at home.
But, I would call the arena services up and ask them the exact dimensions they don't allow.

Their website states no pro cameras, but are SLR cameras allowed?

I have taken my Canon Powershot SX40HS in and they were OK with it because it is a "point and shoot" - even though it has a 35x zoom. If it has a detachable lens I don't think it will be allowed in.

Might as well try. The staff may be getting pretty lax on enforcement now that the Maloofs have sent them their kiss off letter.

I've alway brought DSLRs into the arena. Last time with my telephoto lens (100mm to 300mm) just carrying it right in front of the staff, security and attendants. No one has ever said anything except, "nice camera".

Short of deadly weapons, full course meals and ferocious animals, I don't think they'll turn you down.

Interesting, as they actually took a quick look at mine to check if it was "OK" - maybe it depended on who you were going through?
