Breaking: SAR deal w/ NJ off -- no joke

...because another team wanted him, so we MUST acquire him!!! It's called the Donald Trump theory of basketball management and personnel acquisitions.

I understand that he started his career at small forward, but he excelled as a PF in Atlanta, and most writers I've ever read believe that his natural position is power forward. Yeah, he had excellent numbers as a small forward, but then, Bibby and Abdur-Rahim were the only halfway decent offensive players on the Grizzlies and his scoring average was naturally high. Plus it was when he was at his youngest and most athletic, which translates to higher rebound numbers.

in the east. its different out west with duncan, KG, dirk, brand, etc. the numbers don't always translate so well out west.

we shall certianly see if he is on the kings ( i never paid much attention to him when he was in portland to be honest)

You said "SAR haters" when I think the more accurate term would have been "people who are not and probably will not ever be totally convinced of SAR's Greatness." You could call us PWANAPWNEBTCOSARG"...

Count me as 1!!

My guess is that you will see "Shareef heading to Sacramento" as the opening line on hoopshype.com tomorrow.

Petrie just wet his pants when he heard about the trade and was quickly on the phone to his agent.

You're psychic!!!!

Only the actual headline is "Reef to the Kings?"

I feel bad for the Nets fans they were depending on SAR big time...its good news for teams like Boston and Philly especially

We all know that most of our defense problems was at the 1,and 3 while we had doug christie and the line-up. Now we have 1, and 3 again. I think Brad and skinner can play okay D on 95 percent of the centers out. Shariff is no worse of a defender than Webb was IMO. Wells is not as good a doug on D but is stable and also has powerful offensive game. I think Martin and Garcia at 1 and 2 will play good D on most all other 1 and 2 guards out there with some playing time under their belt. I think with Shariff we can make into the second rounds of the playoffs and win the division.
