Brad out with broken thumb

Isnt it obvious? Brad has a phantom injury because hes being packaged in a deal with KT and Corliss for KG. I heard this rumor straight from the voices in my head.

Haha, those voices in your head are probably more reputable sources than a lot of guys in the sports media today. I hope they're right

I checked the leaders at Kings.com and I noticed that Bonzi Wells is out of the list, when he has a better average than players on the list. I also noticed Brad Miller is out of it too, when his assist average and rebound average r much better than Bibby's, and though, Bibby is on the list.

I assume this means that Brad Miller is injured.

You can't really draw too many conclusions from those listings. Courtney Alexander was shown on the roster for nearly two months after he was let go last year...

;)

And Ron Artest played two games in one night last week for Sac and Indy.

Yes, this sucks...but defensively (including boards) it may not be a bad thing. Please don't crucify me here...I love Brad and all, but this injury may show us if we are a better defensive club in his absence.

Our offense on the other hand? Yeesh...someone's gonna have to step up.

Will it ever stop?

Hopefully he won't be out long. How long could a thumb fracture last? But this could be a blessing in disguise with Skinner working himself back into the rotation.

And the annual Brad Miller Injury Goes To...

steliart_gold_award.jpg

The Thumb!!! Come up and accept your award...

"I just wanted to thank Brad for being so injury prone, and his dad for giving me the gene that makes me so weak. Umm... Who else... O I would like to take this time to give thanks to my predecessors Brad's leg, shoulder, and ankle. Without you guys this award wouldn't exist... And um, I hope to be able to go down next year... Thank you! Thank you!"

Skinner is a fine backup IMO. He will probably take full advantage of some playing time. Hes better defensively at least that Brad and can block shots.

Well my broken toe took 4 weeks till i could walk on it, and 6-8 weeks till it was completey healed by the doctors standards. I was running on it by 4 weeks though. So, let' say a fracture is half as bad as a break. 2 weeks if we're lucky. At that point it would still be wrapped up while he was playing. Complete hearling somewherea around 4 weeks.

I had a nondisplaced broken thumb, and they put me in a cast that stretched below my wrist. It took 6 weeks to heal. Now, clearly I am not a professional athlete and the treatment/timetable may be different for Brad.

Also, breaking my thumb was the most painful thing I've ever experienced. I feel very badly for Brad.

Didn't think about the cast thing. I don't think they would cast it though for a fracture. With a toe you can't cast it. You just tape it to the toe next to it to brace it.

I think that this is kind of fun. Brad is out, so bring in Skinner. Between skinner, artest and possibly wells we could put some bruises on our upcoming opponents. We used to be the soft team that could score alot of points. Now we could be the team that puts the hurt on people win or lose.
