Bibby to Denver for Nene?

If Denver loses Blake, they will need a PG . Wgould you trade Bibby for Nene? The salaries match and Denver may be willing to let Nene go a they still have Camby. Would you do this trade? I would love Camby, but he makes 4 mil less than Nene and I don't think Denver would let him go. Of course we would be left without a starting PG, but perhaps we could trade Artest for a PG.

Nene may have been decent last year, but there is NO WAY you take his contract onto a 'rebuilding' team.

It would throw a giant 60 million dollar wrench into everyone's plans.

The guy averaged 12 points, seven rebounds, and less than a block a game.

He's not worth the contract, and to tell you the truth, I probably wouldn't even trade Bibby for him if the contract was better.

Nene has to be one of the most overrated players in the league...He's just not that great.

Do it in an instant -- Nene started to arrive last year and avergaed 14.2pts 8.2rebs 1.1blks as a starter. right about where I thought he might be able to get wiht minutes. Now the only question is whether he goes on to become 20-10, and stays 15 and 8.

Unfortunately I see little if anyway the Nuggets do it. Already not enough balls to go around anyway, and I think Nene is the one piece of that frontcourt they are working diligently to preserve.

What are you talking about? people really have to just give up the ghost on the Nene hate. After he started, he was up to 14+ 8+ 1+, as he got into shape down the stretch, better even than that -- more like 15+ 8.5. Guy has arrived. Those are big numebrs for abig man in today;s game, and worht the contrqact mcuh more than a 17pt 5ast guard is.

Spot on and not to mention that Nene is a very good low post defender!

Besides, hoopshype have Nene's contract wrong. He received some $8 million last year. Not $10 odd million that they have him down for.

Petrie would jump at this deal if it was offered but I can't see Denver doing this in a million years.

Answer me this Brick. you believe the hype on Nene down the stretch. But not on Williams or Garcia. Whats the difference? You stated yourself that players in the last 4 or 5 weeks doing good is nothing to get excited over.

Nene didn;t do it the last 4 or 5 weeks. He started 42 games last year. He did it the last 3 months, and that after rehabbing his injury. Nor of course is he a nobody suddenly blossoming. He's got several hundred starts in his career, and this has been coming for a while now. Got interrupted by the major injury. Then he got healthy, and voila, here he is. 6'11" 260lbs of post playing beast. That is precisely the guy you DO pay $10 million a year to.

How many good years does he have at 26 years old on that knee??

I'm an admitted Bibby-hom... well, maybe not that far... but I'm not in as big a hurry to get rid of him as everyone else is, and even I would make this trade in a New York minute.

The Nuggets were still playing for positioning down the stretch; Hilario was putting up those numbers in meaningful minutes. That's always going to trump glorified garbage time of the sort that Williams was playing in.

If you want to look at it from a statistical standpoint, it's somewhat like trading Mitch Richmond for Chris Webber.

yeah

great.
i love nene. he is the guy tha we need.
very energetic. a very good PF
