This will probably be the only time I beat Tetsu to the punch, so...
Hmm...there's not actually a presser linked there so my fail quotient is 1.

Still waiting for James Ham to confirm. The Slow Report: We don't always get it first, but we always get it right!
Too funny. So Mike Brown’s practices were too hard and Doug Christie didn’t practice enough? Sounds like DC was just trying to appease his players based on what Domas was saying about Brown. Really need a roster reset.
As long as he has a plan to hire some ultra experienced bench coaches, but not ones who will try to snake his job at the first sign of struggles (because lord knows that’s gonna happen!)
Sounds a bit crazy on paper but it can be tough to judge these things without full context. For example, maybe Domas thought more practice was needed in this particular case because of all the new players we had who had to learn the system.Too funny. To be honest, I don't think there were any interviews at all. And from Perry's intro presser, I didn't get the impression there would be.Should have been more thorough and interviewed more people
I am not one who believes that the interim tag on Christie's job was what was holding the team back.
The big question for me is how many of Brown's assistants stay on; and I wonder if Doug has the influence it takes to hire capable assistants.
So basically Vivek picked the coach. Great…
Sean C-Ham said Bobby Jackson is likely joining the staff and it’s possible Mike Woodson (he said this one was more of a maybe) as well. He speculated Barbosa would be returning but didn’t seem think many others would be back.
It's an interesting point.Interim coaches becoming the head coaches are the "in thing" right now. Vivek is ahead of the curve.![]()
Chiming in from Nuggets-land:I guess we'll see what happens with David Adelman to see if this is a real trend.
Well, there were 2 young assistant coaches that we know Vivek actively sought and chose, Michael Malone and Doug Christie. Vivek may not always pick the right GM, but he seems to recognize good young coaches when he sees them.
I think Doug will do well with a full off season and a full staff. DC is very cerebral and loyal, I think he will be a good coach for our Kings.
