Liking Luke
Even if 7-foot-2 center Luke Schenscher doesn't make the Kings' roster, assistant Pete Carril said his long-term prospects in the NBA bode well.
"I like Luke down the road, two or three years from now," Carril said. "Seven-foot-two guys aren't easy to find."

The Kings went to Lord's Gym in Roseville for the annual Read to Achieve event, in which they played on the same computers the organization had donated. One child was asked what he learned online from forward Peja Stojakovic, and the boy said, "Allan Houston retired."
When Stojakovic was told that the New York Knicks guard retired Monday, Stojakovic joked that he should check out the Internet more often. Even point guard Jason Hart made an appearance, walking with ease after suffering a hip pointer Tuesday night.
