Baron Davis to Cavs

Traded with Clippers first round pick for Mo Williams and Jamario Moon (per Amick's twitter).

Don't know how I feel about this move for either side. Cavs get an additional first round pick and a former all-star but have to take on the former all-star's bloated contract.

Clippers meanwhile free up capspace and free up playing time for Bledsoe and shots for Gordon and Kaman and Griffin.

I'd make that face, too...

LOL. Poor Baron. He sticks with the clippers for years and right when they start to turn the corner...boom...traded.

I would pull a Deron and refuse to board the plane.

Poor Baron? He's the last guy I'd feel bad for. He's a huge part of why the Clippers have sucked for so long. He doesnt deserve to be on a up and coming team. So now he is back at the bottom of the league right where he belongs.

No kidding. If by sticks with the Clippers you mean sign a massive contract and then later admit you didn't try as hard as you should have.

Tons of Baron-hate. I was/am a fan of his from the GS massacre of Dallas. Sorry guys, but I feel bad for anyone that goes to Cleveland right now (and for Cleveland for that matter).

What a terrible move for the clippers. They lose talent in the trade and they trade thier 2011 first round pick which is unprotected. Just to save 4 mil in cap space. Sterling is a joke.

wow, baron must be PISSED. he was throwing lobs and getting easy assists with blake. now, he goes to the worst team in the NBA.

Crazy trade for the clippers. Clippers will be in the lottery this year (they'll probably end up drafting 9th or 10th) and have a shot (albeit a small one) at a top #3 pick.

I can't believe they would basically give away a lottery pick in order to save 9 million bucks. Crazy times in the NBA.

clippers are full of young talent now, they dont need any more kids. they need good vets to complete the team. no ones gonna win with only a bunch of kids. but ur right they kinda wasted the pick. what they should have done was trade that high pick for a proven vet instead of saving money tho

Not sure what to think of this trade. On one hand they got rid of Baron's awful contract and the other hand they traded a lottery pick for a chucker. I guess they don't want to add any more youth and start winning starting next year, can't say I blame them. They only have Griffin for a couple of seasons til he pulls a LeBron.
