Nope, the hip check came after the knock on Ginobili.OHSacFan said:And it looked like Duncan was trying to do the Bump with Artest, but did anyone else notice that it looks like he helped knock Ginobli to the ground with his little hip-check?
OHSacFan said:Wow! This just leaves me shocked and disappointed. I agree that it seems as though the league has been looking for ANYTHING in regards to Artest. Sad.

That's what they'll say, but I don't think it is that clear cut. This doesn't follow my interpretation of the spirit of that rule.nbrans said:Intentional forearm to the head = suspension. End of story.

I feel ya VF, oh, and btw, if you're gonna watch hockey, might I suggest you start NEXT year, because the best team, Vancouver Canucks, arent in the playoffs right now because...ah nevermind.VF21 said:...And my excitement about the 2006 playoffs shrivels up and dies...

I wish you were right. It would be NICE if the NBA ruels for what constute a flagrant 1 and flagrant 2 were nice and clear and if the penelties were nice and clear. But unfortunatly they apear to have been written by attorneys and are there for as clear as Mud. I see a foul, I see a flagrant foul, but unsportsman like behavior (check NBA defination of F2) Can't see it.nbrans said:Intentional forearm to the head = suspension. End of story.
watch the play again and see where the elbow starts! It is on his shoulder, No where near trying to go for the head, it slides up the shoulder than gets manu in the head!bibbyweb said:Thanks for the clip. The elbow was intentional. No doubt aobut that. Also it showcased Ginobilli's flopping skills as well. This guy is perhaps top the all time best list.
Talking about dirty players. The Spurs seem to have a good collection of them.![]()
And they said a ball into the stands = suspension, too. We know how that one goes, too (Kobe gets a pass).nbrans said:Intentional forearm to the head = suspension. End of story.
That's what it looked like to me to...shoulder first, then up to head. Manu's head really flies back when Duncan rams him .Diehard Jim said:![]()

exactly...that just about sums it up.DocHolliday said:Ok I took a nap during the second half. Can someone explain to me when this elbow happened, because I didn't see it in the first half.
And let me get this straight?? Artest gets suspended for one game, but Ginobli NAILS Artest in the first play of the gam and nothing. This is World Champion treatment, and a combination of it being Ron Artest.
