im pretty sure hes not going to be a very happy man...... has artest managed to ruin yet another relationship? will peja demand a trade now?

probably. or he can really kill u guys and stay for the season and then sign with another team at the end of the year. then u guys would get nuthin for him

he is not going to demand anything - I don't think

however - if he is not traded - he will walk and so would I and everyone else with a little bit pride left

Yes we have to trade him after the whole artest fiasco just blew up in our face. This is really stupid, artest doesn't think AT ALL before he does something. He just single handedly screwed over indiana(not going to get anything as valuable as peja now), sacramento(now we're stuck with trading peja, now the nba knows we have to trade him and we're backed into a corner and his value just took a hit cuz this), the nba fans who are sick of hearing about him(Like me) etc etc. Send him to atlanta, they don't have any fans he could beat up anyways.

Yes. He's gone in the offseason, no doubt. There's gotta be SOMEONE out there who wants him, and after this fiasco I'm sure the offers will come pouring in. We gotta get something now or we'll lose him for nothing. No matter what you think of him now, you gotta be realistic and recognize that it's over. Let's salvage what we can from this train wreck.

i think so, but who knows. his story in the bee this morning was obviously a last ditch effort to stop the trade, give the Maloofs second thoughts, etc.

A lot can happen. Who really knows? The story in the Bee indicates that he wants to stay. If the team can convince him that we really DO want him here then maybe things will work out. It helps that it was the KINGS who called off the trade, not the Pacers.

i like the al harrington for peja, hes only 25, about to turn 26, but there are always picks, i really wouldn't mind have a few picks. bulls would be good, paul pierce, kirilenko. i don't care, just get peja out.

3 team deal ...Bonzi to Indiana, Artest to the Clippers, and Maggette to the Kings ....or Peja to Indiana, Artest to the Clippers, and Maggette to the Kings...

Maggette is a 20 point scorer who's contract is not that bad. He also gets to the line more than anyone on our team. Bonzi is a free agent and Peja been inconsistent/injured throughout the season. Peja does deserve to go where he's wanted. The only thing bad about these trades is that Ron Artest gets to go to LA.

We were all talking about how Peja has no value, belly aching about this and that. Well, now he really does have no value.

Props to Ron Artest for not only taking his value down to none but also dropping Peja's down as well.

Yes, now we have to worry about putting a guy out on the court who's heart may not be in it anymore...

...um...wait a sec...

Tough sell at this point. We just did everything we could to show him we DIDN'T want him here.

wow-I missed alot today. looks like the board was pretty crazy all day. but yes, I do think that we have to trade Peja at this point. he wasn't playing with much passion prior to this whole fiasco he surely wont now that he knows the maloofs were about to ship him off..

The writing is on the wall. The Kings will not Keep Peja. Whether it's the end of the season or the trade deadline. He's on his way out.

We don't need another 20 point potential injured player.

This fiasco has not played itself out yet. A lot of B.S. can get ironed out when parties meet face-to-face.

Donnie Walsh and Larry Bird may need to be restrained.

If Artest agrees to come to Sacramento, and expresses as much to GP and the Maloofs in a conference call, the Kings should still ask for a #1 draft pick to sweeten the deal.

but supposedly Peja showed up at the game in the 4th quarter, and when they asked him he understands that it is a business, and that's just the way it goes.

Either way, I think we either trade him or assume he is going to walk away free. I don't think there's any pretense that he should have "loyalty" to the Kings after this fiasco.

Yes...if I Were Him I Would Not Even Play For Kings Ever Again With The Way That They Traded Him..without Even Telling Him Or Nothing.......kings Suck

Man and you call yourself a Kings fan?

His agent said you're crazy if you think you're going to see Peja in a Kings uniform again. This trade will go down tomorrow after the Maloofs and Petrie meet with him Artest tomorrow. That's my prediction.
