Are the Warriors Better Than the Kings

The Kings are better.

However, I somehow always expect the Kings to get their butts handed to them by the Warriors...

Weird huh? :)

I dont know about Oakland being are second home court anymore. Right now i live in the bay area, and the tide is turning. expect more warrior fans tonite. I will be there in my usual kings gear, but i do feel as if warriors are a little bit better RIGHT NOW. time will tell because kings have a better team.

5 1/2 point underdog to the Warriors tonight. Times have certainly changed. At least Vegas thinks we need some Roster changes before we can win against the mighty Warriors on their vaunted home turf.

Frankly, I wouldn't take the points unless we get another big guy or even a skinny guy with long arms (trade Peja for Odom) and a backup point guard that can play defense AND score a little.

I don't like our chances tonight, but I am willing to be pleasantly surprised.

Yeah Warriors fans are coming out of hiding all of the sudden. Having to listen to that dumb-*** comercial on KNBR all yesterday and today, has really started to pee me off. They say they are ready to signal the passing of their franchise moving up as ours slides into the lottery. I hope we come out and put them, and especially their new bandwagon fans in their place. They haven't won anything yet, and that includes Baron. I just hope the Kings show some pride and heart and win this game.

Word. This would be a huge jump start to the rest of 2005. I go to this game every year, and every year it seems Kings fans get louder and louder down in Oakland. Hopefully that will be the case tonight. It has been a long time that I have gotten this jazzed for a regular season game. To me it kind of feels "a little" like Kings vs Lakers.

I hope Bonzi and Mike rip the heart out of the warriors and their fans. Pound the ball into Reef against Murphy, isn't Murphy a crappy post defender? Also let Bonzi post JRich up and waste some energy on d, then when JRich plays Offense he'll be tired.

I don't know who's better, but Golden State has built their 10-6 record on a pretty easy opening month.

From CBS Sportsline: /www.sportsline.com/nba/teams/schedule/GS
Nov 2 Atl Won 122-97 1-0
Nov 4 Utah Lost 85-91 1-1
Nov 6 @NY Won 83-81 2-1
Nov 8 @Mil Won 110-103 3-1
Nov 9 @Chi Lost 84-85 3-2
Nov 11 NY Won 86-84 4-2
Nov 12 @Pho Lost 86-101 4-3
Nov 14 Chi Won 100-82 5-3
Nov 16 Mil Lost 87-90 5-4
Nov 18 @Por tWon 91-80 6-4
Nov 20 @LAC Lost 101-113 6-5
Nov 21 NJ Won 100-97 7-5
Nov 23 SA Lost 89-113 7-6
Nov 25 @Utah Won 94-90 8-6
Nov 26 Tor Won 117-91 9-6
Nov 28 NO Won 99-83 10-6

Their only surprise win is against Chicago (and that was in Oakland). Unlike the Kings, they've won the games they should have won, but the Kings do seem to be playing better recently.

i hate the bay area, thats all i want to say, kings will out play them, and how can you say their bench is better? we have a better quality of players, its just that they aren't consistent.

No, Baron Davis.

No, really?

I'd hope that before we celebrate our superiority over other teams because of their injury-prone player we take a look at ourselves first.

Or we can just watch what they do on the court tonight. ;)

Yes, sadly the warriors are better then the Kings.

Baron > Bibby - Baron is much more skilled then Bibby. Knows how to play off the dribble more consistently and passes the ball better.
Murphy = Shareef - Both are good, Shareef is inside and Murphy likes to play outside
Foyle < Brad - Brad Miller will tear Foyle inside and out any day.
Richardson > Wells - Richardson is much better then Wells offensivly because of his nice jumper and dunking skills
Dunleavy < Peja - Although Peja is better then Dunleavy, they are both soft little forwards who only know how to shoot the ball and notting else.

Warriors bench > Sacramento bench - Warriors have an underrated bench but Fisher and Peitrus both look like they fit well with this warriors type of offense. Also Ike and Biedrins look are major factors to the Warriors bench.

Warriors 3
Kings 2

Regardless of the this > that stuff, we have FAR more talented talented than the Warriors, but this game isn't just about talent. You have to have EFFORT thrown in there somewhere. Plus that team is more experienced than we are as a team. Still they of all teams should not be outrebounding us by that margin.

I disagree that the Kings are more talented than the Warriors. Yes, the Kings players are more talented offensively, but when you factor in the defensive talents of guys like Adonal Foyle (not to mention that other than Dunleavy, the rest of their squad plays passable defense, and not putrid defense), I'd call it a wash at best, if not in favor of the Warriors.

The reason the Warriors are so good without playing a lot of defense is because they jack up shots on your face all day. They go for the who ever hits 100 points win strategy. Obviously we are not that type of team because we dont have any atheletic players that run and gun.

IMO Warriors are better. With our present roster, so are: Grizz, Clips, Mavs, Wolves, Spurs, Suns, Nuggets and Hornets (yup).

Getting better will cost us Bibby and Miller. If we got an upgrade on Hart and bigger more athletic defensive center in return I think we would improve.

Don't think Peja is bait anymore.

Look up Warrioir stats over the years . They of all teams shouldnt be outrebounding us like that? For years this has been a great rebounding team. Are the Kings FAR more talented than the Warriors? Somebody is living in a team world. We are significantly less talented then the Warriors. We have veterens which compensate for our lack of talent against the Warriors.
