Any of the top bigs coming out..

JDP916

Prospect
Davis, Drummond, Robinson, Sullinger, Jones any of these players could pair with Demarcus Cousins to be a dominate frontcourt...`

Davis? yes, Robinson? maybe.... Drummond, Sullinger or Jones? NOPE!

What makes you think that Drummond, Sullinger or Jones aren't coming out. If its Terrence, I'm fairly sure he'll declare, and I'd be surprised if Perry doesn't come out. I'm pretty sure Sullinger will as well. The only one I have question marks about is Drummond, and thats based on what he said. I'm not saying that either P Jones or Sulliinger might not opt to stay another year. But I think the main reason those guys, along with Barnes, stayed, was because of the lockout, and the possibility of the season being cancelled. Robinson is likely to declare as well. More for financial reasons than anything else.

This was a response to who could play with Cousins and not who was coming out. That was my impression.

Along those lines though, are there any bigs that we absolutely shouldn't draft? I get the impression that some think some absolutely would not fit. I can understand who would be ideal but if the deal person wasn't their, wouldn't you just get the BPA and work out the problems on the court? I must admit if the big was a guy who needed a lot of shots, I'd be confused as to what to do.

Ahh shoot.. I thought he was asking who do we want to pair with Cousins lol.. My bad.

We do NOT need anymoe scorers. Did peeps learn nothing from the JJ Hickson episode?

Davis and Drummond could fill the DEFENSIVE role player we need next to Cousins. Possibly Henson if he suddenly gains 30lbs.

Think of the great centers over the years. Think who their wingmen at PF have been. Actually, before you start eliminate the crap Dwight Howard has had to work with, as that stupid decision has been a major factor why they almost lost him and may still. Now let's talk about Charles Oakley and Udonis Haslem and A.C. Green and PJ Brown and Horace Grant and Robert Horry and Kurt Rambis and Dennis Rodman and Antonio Davis and Dale Davis and....

Notice a trend with those names? Because Cousins is not a shotblocker we have the additional task of making sure the PF is. But the PF wingman to a great center plays DEFENSE, not offense, in particular when he's coming to a team full of perimeter chuckers.

I wouldn't necessarily pass them up but out of that bunch I would rather us not draft Sullinger or PJ3 and T Jones (While I have a major draft crush on him) has some question marks as well.

In a perfect world I would love to see this starting 5.....your thoughts?!

C: Cousins
PF: Davis
SF: Batum
SG: T. Williams (re-signed on the cheap unless the issues what ever they were re-surface)
PG: Evans

The weakest defensive link on that team is Cousins and there is plenty of offence to go around. If Tyreke and Williams improve their jumper to respectable level, that team is multi-facaded offensively (low post, dribble drive, passing, shooting) and is just about lock down defensively.
