Another thing coming!

Bench
If anyone here seriously thinks that Peja is going to lead the Kings to the promised land they are surely mistaken. I will eat my words and apologize to everyone on this forum if we get anywhere with Peja 'leading' the way. Its a new day but Im still completely shocked and pissed off.

Webber = King of all Kings!

Hey - there have been stranger things. Look at all the people who have to eat their words about Webber not being on the trading block!

And it will be Bibby/Miller/Peja leading the way - no more ego to clog up the unified effort.

Yeah, I thought it was Webber and the Gang vs Peja? How has this changed? Peja is still considered an outsider to Bibby and Miller and Mobley...........

Webber = King of all Kings!

Webber = Former King

That's all there is to right now. The sooner people realize that, the faster we move on.

I don't expect Peja to lead the team, although I expect him to shoot near 50% and 40% from 3pt, and average 25+ ppg. If he does that I don't care if he leads the team vocally. If Peja averages those numbers above usually we have a winning team.

Brad, Mobley, or Bibby could vocally lead this team for all I care, I just want Peja to get his shots, because when he does, the Kings win.

Sad thing is soon (like with all the posts regarding DC) any posts/threads regarding Webber should be posted in the NBA forum :(

He will still be the best player KIngs have had in a long time and probably will have for a long time to come.

Got a better one for ya.

Kings = Former contender

Kings are still a contender. We did fine this year when Webber didn't play, and now we have 2 bench players that can help out so we should be fine. We still have 3 all-star caliber players. Isn't that enough?

I have no idea why so many people are fixated on the notion that since Webb is gone the Kings failures or successes hinge on Peja. Remember, the Kings still have Brad Miller and Mike Bibby, who are arguable in the top three at their positions in the league. Of course a heavy burden falls on Peja now, but I also think that everyone else has to step up and help shoulder some of that. IMO, this is now Bibby's team more than Peja or anyone else.

I never really saw Pedja as the outsider. Saw him as a TEAM with Webber. It just end up looking like Pedja vs Webber (which sucks). I don't believe in "Webber and his gang". It makes it sound like Webber's "the man" and the rest are just some guys. I believe in TEAM though.

To beat the Suns, Sonics, Spurs? Are you kidding me? We dont have a PF. TD is going to work our team like there is no tomorrow.
