Another good article on Omri

I would settle for highlights of what is said.

It wasn't an interview. The main focus was what NBA analysts have been saying about him, his improvement over the summer, and how his ceiling his much higher than initially predicted. They have quotes from Mark Stein and David Thorpe (who worked with him in the summer camp before the start of the season), among others. There seems to be a buzz there that he has the potential to become an allstar.

I would settle for highlights of what is said.

First block - description of the kings' loss to the Lakers on the Kobe offensive no-call, description of the cameras panning from the lakers to Omri and back.

Second block - Omri worked really hard over the summer. With Thorpe.

Third block - Omri's shot has improved by leaps and bounds over the summer, Thorpe and Mark Steine talk about his passing ability, and say that people still don't realise how much more there is to him beyond just an energetic shooter, but also mention how he needs to improve his handle, particularly with his left, to fully realise that part of his game.

Fourth block - The Kings are the perfect situation for him to flourish, Cisco's injury was a huge opportunity for him, which he made the most of, he'll be starting for the Rookie team alongside Tyreke if he's healthy (According to Steine) Casspi is a hard worker.

I'll be happy to expand on any one of these points, but there isn't much there that doesn't smack of hyperbole to be honest.

We know he's emotional, we know he's a hard worker, we know he's better then most people expected. The rest of it is mostly hot air.
