I entered 4 fantasy basketball leagues this year. A 12, 14, 18, and 20 man league. 2 weekly, 2 daily:

Bravo Mr. Modest ...I made the playoffs in all my leagues (3), but I did not do so well.

I went 0-for-4 this year: two 2nd place finishes, one 3rd place finish, and one fifth place finish. That was the only the second time since I first got into fantasy sports (and the first time since my very first league) that I failed to get out of the first round.

Well, if it helps with the modesty angle at all, I will admit that I got completley crushed 8-1 in the Finals of the ONE, SINGLE, SOLITARY league whcih I did not win.

Truth be told, I'm far more surprised to learn that Brick's got a team called the "Fluffy Bunnies" than I am to learn that he's fantabulous.

I think it's a male/female thing.

I've tried talking to girls about why so many guys do fantasy leagues... they never get it ("it's not even real!"), and then I get confused about why I do fantasy leagues.

Bah... I came close in y'alls JSin league (although that darned Bricklayer won), but at least I won y'alls fantasy football league this year, and I also won my D-M.com official league...
