Pretty sure that "I won't sign anywhere but San Antonio in 2026" had something to do with that.
And even with that stipulation, I’m not sure that two unprotected firsts and five seconds doesn’t really count as a haul in the NBA in 2025 when pretty much every single team is out of assets

Dlo and KC were going over the pure ineptness of this franchise today. A team with a half of brain would have knows they were gonna move off of brown and moved Fox BEFORE they fired brown.
Why do people make excuses for the braindead actions of this franchise? It’s not like it’s a one off. This franchise has been a joke since they got here. With the exception of the Webber era.

And all the Thunder needed to do was have the Clippers accidentally trade them a guy who turned into a future MVP
In fairness to the Clippers, Paul George used to be really, really good, and they probably didn't anticipate a scenario in which Gilgeous-Alexander would ever develop into a better player (Full disclosure, I didn't, either). Also, they had gone all-in on signing Kawhi Leonard, and acquiring George was the cost of doing business to make that happen.

Yeah. The main assets the Thunder were acquiring in that trade were all the Clippers picks and SGA was pretty much just a thrown in “I dunno. here’s the one young guy on our roster for added fun, I guess.” piece. To SGA’s immense credit, he developed from there.

I think there is something going on in his personal life. The media tone about him has shifted in that regard.
I believe it. It's often underrated how often something in your personal life can affect your performance. I've been a full time options day trader for the past 22 years and in 2005 I had some bad relationship stuff going on and had my worst performing year ever. Mentally stuff like that can screw you up. Even if it doesn't effect you consciously , it can still affect you at a subconscious level.

Was Sabonis throwing his hands up at LaVine when he found him on that pass and he made that layup? Cant tell if that was tension between them or if he was directing that to the refs.

Lavine and Deebo killing this team. I rather watch Fultz because at least he has upside....
Fultz is the same age as Malik Monk and has had multiple major injuries including a shoulder one that makes it so he can’t shoot the ball normally. What the hell kind of upside are we talking here?

Maybe it's off base, but I've seen some interviews and kind of watched Domas since he's been back. I think there is definitely smoke to him possibly wanting out. He's looked tuned out since all the mess happened.

He's got some tools but the clear reason he was never going to live up to that number 1 is he just doesn't have quickness. On either end. The shoulder thing didn't help obviously but it's definitely the lack of foot speed keeping him from his potential.
